19 days to 6 months...I sent webform one week ago and received the reply as below:

"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided and are pleased to inform you that everything appears to be in order with your application.

All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry."

I know this is one type of template when they sending out the reply of CSE. Is there any possibility this is also a positive sign as it says "pleased"? Anyone can share some ideas or have the same situation before? my visa in current resident country is about to expire, im really anxious now
Hey Shiyishi, dont try to read much in the CSE responses, as they are mostly generic. The good thing in this response that it falls under the category of responses which bear no negative reflection on your application so mostly very positive. Your PPR can be nearer than ever and you might get it anyday now. Be positive and hang on tight.

I couldn't resist myself from replying to this reply of yours @gau55555 . An assurance possibly could not be crafted in better words than these in this context.
A big admirer of the noble work you and some of your June buddies are doing across the different threads :) Keeping the sinking hopes alive even after getting your respective PPRs :)
Bravo!

Cheers!

It happened, I finally got it guys. Received the golden email in the last hour. Seeing an email titled "Ready for Visa" pop up on my phone was almost surreal after all this wait. My 6 month date was 12th February.

Good luck to all of you guys still waiting. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for all of you.

To all the experts out there, perhaps you could help with my query-
My AOR is August 3rd 2018 under CEC - Inland. I also applied for a study permit extension on August 28th and got a letter from CIC stating my study permit extension application was transferred to local visa office (edmonton) for further review on December 11th. I am still waiting for a decision on both applications.

I spoke with an agent today and he told me that my PR application (which is also now at LVO in Edmonton)- Eligibility was still being reviewed and they are conducting the background check but currently in the criminality stage and security has not started. Because of this he said it will still take a little time but cannot say how long (weeks or even months, he said). I asked him if my eligibility was met, recommended pass etc. He said that the eligibility is still be reviewed and can only be passed once background check is complete. My travel history is simple, only been to India and Canada in the last 10 years, no criminal record.

What stage am I in? Could we predict that my eligibility at this stage is "recommended pass" as I have not been asked for additional documents and they have began background check? Any advise on a timeline would be appreciated. It has now been slightly over 6 months for me.

Thank you all!

It's difficult to predict with CIC.
What does your Atip notes say?

Quick question for our very helpful senior members here.. If an application has already passed eligibility does that mean that all necessary requirements specifically ECA has been approved? If let's say there's a problem with your CRS points and it decreased lower than the cut off point, will they issue a refusal even before marking your application as eligibility passed?

I guess the question here is, what are the chances of being refuse after eligibility has passed?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I do not have any Atip notes or GCMS notes. This is just going off the CIC call centre agent and what they told me. I understand that certain people have been told specifics on their eligibility status over the phone, but I have called a few times and they have not given me specifics. The only specific I got today was that my criminality is in process and my security has not started and that my application is in Edmonton. Thank you!
