Same AOR... rather my Background check has not started yet

Called CIC. They told my file sent to local Visa Office on 22nd November... I don’t know how to interpret

I have one query -> Does getting a promotion will affect my profile as I have submitted Experience Letter with current Job Position(Role)? Do I have to submit a new Experience Letter document if I take the promotion?

Whenever some agent touches/ updates someone's file, they get an email saying that 'your application has been updated'. However, when one opens the application and sees no change in it. This is what is called as Ghost update.
Its actually a good news. as someone is working on your file.

Not necessarily true. Most applicants never see any update at all until PPR email.
People shouldn't be waiting for a supposed "ghost" update, as they may never receive one. Drives more frustration than clarity.

They are just standard statuses. Eligibility status will most likely stay that way until final approval.
Don't focus too much on them.

No need. Your submitted reference letter is for the job you claimed points for. Doesn't have to be your current job.
Only inform IRCC of change in family composition and status, contact information, address information, and ideally, if you left the company in case they choose to call.
