Yay, finally! I received my interview notice via email (Surrey, BC)

Here's my updated history:

App Sent: April 16, 2018
App Received: April 23, 2018
AOR: June 26, 2018
In Process: July 24, 2018
Test Invite Letter (email): January 21, 2019
NOTE: hasn't updated on ECAS yet today

Any recommendations or tips for the interview? ...obviously shouldn't forget all the documents they requested, but other than that, what kinds of things do they ask you?
*UPDATE* - Interview date is February 13, 2019

just a quick question to all got their invite for interview and exam? do you guys have the Prohibitions under the Citizenship act form sent along with the notice?
It will be on a green paper that they will give you at the time you check in before the test. At least that was in my case.

I do remember that part when filling in the application form. In my case I didn't have any form with my notice, I signed one when I get to the test location. Just print out your form and bring it with you just in case. Good luck!

Hi Folks,
Currently I'm an Indian citizen, when I receive Canadian citizenship, apart form surrendering Indian passport, do I have to inform any other Indian/Canadian authorities ? Can we still keep Indian ID's and driving licences or it wont be valid any more once I become Canadian ?
TIA.

No, you do not need to inform anyone other than surrendering your Indian passport and then applying for OCI. You can keep your ID's with you.

They make you declare that you have no prohibitions a number of times during the process. Once at application, once at interview and then again at the oath I think. Our interviewer told us it's to give you a chance to tell them at any stage something that may prohibit you. If it comes to light afterwards it's much worse. Also, I guess between application and oath your situation may change and suddenly you commit a crime that would prohibit you so they check multiple times.

Hi everyone
My question for those who already done the citizenship test/interview ,how many documents did you sign?in my case I signed two documents one of which was the prohibition and the other one that he covered fully and asked me to sign it at the bottom,i should’ve refused signing anything that i can’t clearly see ,Unfortunatley i did sign it,which makes me really worried about it,i appreciate if you could kindly share your experience

I signed 2 documents. One was a green page that declared I had no prohibitions. The other was a similar document that was a little longer but basically to was another declaration of no prohibitions. I wouldn't worry.

Hello, I am from Calgary and have just received an Oath-taking invitation email today scheduled on March 6th. However, when I checked my e-CAS, it isn't updated yet. Anyway, I am glad that finally the long wait is over. Thanks everyone! :)
