It’s PPR guys! From Sydney!
AOR: June 8
IP2: Oct 15
Approved: Oct 22
PPR: Jan 23

No ghost update.

Called IRCC several times (btw, after your passed 6 months, ask agent to leave a note for you, not sure if it helps in my case, but just try everything), raised CSE (always got generic reply), emailed Ottawa (who never replied to me but did forward my email to Sydney), NDVO (with no reply), HKVO (my LVO, who replied couple times, telling me the file is not with them) and Sydney (who replied me after Ottawa forwarded my email).

I literally lost hope yesterday. But thank you all so much for your information and support. Specific thanks to @tobs eho answered many of my questions and @macaly7 who keeps the very useful list. But overall, I would like to thank every one in this community! And hope those who hasn’t received their PPR will get it soon!

Btw I will now order GCMS to see what happened during the three months after approval....
Congrats!! I'm really happy for you.

Congratulations. I am assuming your application was already approved but didn't get the mail for long.

I just remember yours and @gau55555 was pending. And gau got ppr. It is your turn next ... What was your last know status ? Eligibility, Criminality, security ?

Man, that was my hope too... But seems the batch @gau55555 was part of has been released, and I've heard nothing... Eligibility met, criminality passed on the 23rd of October and Security not started. Just like you and many other June applicants here :) Can't wait for the security to start for all us!! It will rain PPR's then :)

yes... that was what drove me crazy....

By the way, I just realised Sydney probably used the wrong template to send my PPR. I am single applicant; however, PPR started with "the application processing for your overseas dependent(s) for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete"......
So my strategy is inform LVO via webform that this is probably the wrong format and that I will send all required documents anyway.
Any advice? Should I wait until they instead send me PPR in correct template?

My GCMS is also delayed. It was ordered on 3rd of December but no response yet. It is a ray of hope for me because maybe I am close to PPR

If I may ask - where did you order the notes from? And did you get a message from them? From what I could understand in the E-mail they sent, the agency (getGCMS) reached out to CIC to see if they can find a reason for the delay.

Finally, another cut and paste response from Ottawa CPC.

Hahaha...if I track him down I will beg for his mercy and ask him what's the real deal.

What additional verifications do they actually require, or why do they use such an eloquent excuse to hide their inefficiency.

What kind of additional verifications are they talking about?
Did you order gcms notes? Do they mean security screening by additional verification?

I have seen people getting reply as waiting in queue to be reviewed by officer but this is something different.

I hope there is nothing serious.

Anyone in this thread order GCMS notes in December? Ours are delayed - we ordered on the 14th of December.
I ordered on the 21st. Received it yesterday.

Submit your passport with that letter. There's nothing to worry about.
