Hello beautiful people,

I would like to visit Canada for 2 weeks for tourist purposes only. This is the first time I'm applying to Canada. In past, I have traveled EU in 2017 and England in 2018. I don't have any invitation letter from Canada although those other two visas I got were with invitation letter. I'm having a decent business going on here in India. I'm happy to book return flight ticket and hotel booking in advance. In the proof of ties, I can show:-

1) Bank balance $10k
2) Travel History(EU / UK)
3) Business registration documents
4) Last 3 ITRs(last year ITR was 6lakh)
5) NOC from my business partners on my company's letterhead(and use business account during my stay in Canada)

I heard that my case is not that strong because:-
1) I don't have Invitation letter
2) I don't have any property registered on my own name
3) I'm single(not married)
4) Sudden transfer from business account to saving account

Thank you very much everyone :)

First, you need to convince the visa officer why you want to visit Canada as a tourist when you can visit several other countries.

Second, does your personal income support visits abroad? Are you consistently earning profits/dividends that allow you to vacation abroad versus maybe investing the finances in property or other financial investments?

If your income for the previous financial years was just INR 600,000 (pre-tax):
1. It does not match your bank balance of CAD 10,000

2. This income has not shown any growth/no increase = Your business is not growing year-on-year (normally it should at the rate of 10-20% minimum if there are no external reasons to thwart that business growth).

3. Your income does not support a visit to Canada

4. Yes, the transfer from your business account to your savings account would seem like it was done for the visa application.

Your previous travel history will not help you for your Canada visit because that was probably to meet friends/family versus your ability to now pay all expenses from A to Z for your visit to Canada.

IMO, you would be risking a TRV refusal if you apply. It's up to you if you want to apply

Thank you very much Bryanna,
a quick question: how can I make myself eligible for the trv?

Your chances of a TRV approval would improve if:
1. Your personal finances are good.... not just the bank balance, but financial investments over a period of time + ownership of other assets.

2. Your business is growing reasonably well + your work responsibilities are unique from those of your business partners

3. You are able to demonstrate other ties to India (dependent family members, work commitments, etc)
