I spoke with them on Wednesday and they were at Dec 21 application.
She asked me when did I submit, I told her in November so she check file.she said that my application was in a preliminary file

21 Dec is probably a typo. @Lime06 did you mean 21 Nov instead of 21 dec ?

I am 26 Nov recd date. No AOR yet.

Sept /Oct 2018 applicants got AORs in like 2-3 weeks ( most of them).

Thanks !

When he visited india, you were with him?
Yeah both of the times when he came to india i was out of city away from home.
1st time i was staying at university residence where i was studying
And 2nd time i was living in another city where i was working and he stayed with me in that city.

Hi
Can anyone explain what they check in background checks in cic pls
Any idea pls

Its not CIC that run the background checks it's RCMP and CSIS, CIC just gets the results. RCMP and CSIS they run checks on everything about you in all the countries you have been to: your work history, education, they check if you had any criminal records or violations, they also verify all the documents and information you submitted, etc..

Yeah explain it to them the same way you explained it to us that he never got the chance to meet them as he only spent few days in India when he was visiting you in cities away from your family
Did your parents write a support letter? If not they can write one and state that they know about your common law relationship with him and they accept it and they want to meet him in the near future and so on.. that would help

@Lime06 Dec 21? Sounds silly. And what did the officer say to you, what is the reason you did not get AOR, even though you are Nov 22 applicant?
We submitted our application on November 18th (without tracking, so I do not know the exact date when it arrived. According to Canada Post, it takes 4 days for letters to arrive nationally. That's why I believe that our application must have arrived in around November 22nd or 23rd. We still have not got AOR yet. I am going to call them on Monday and ask.

Hi, any November applicant who has received their AOR?
My documents were received on the 1st of November. I'm still waiting for my AOR.

You are an outland applicant which is different than inland, you can check november outland applicants and see how it's going with them
