We're Nov 22nd also also still waiting for AOR. We made a mistake on a form though so its possible our app is in the queue for return, may not give you an accurate picture of how processing is going...

We sent our application through Canada Post on November 18th from Vancouver. According to their website, it must have arrived to the processing center either on the 22nd or 23rd. Still wainting for AOR. It is actully crazy to see that lots of early Nov applicants got their AOR within less then 4 weeks. On the other hand, mid and late Nov applicants are still wainting. I don't know what happened to the workers at the processing center. They might have recivied a high number of apllication. Does anyone know why they are so late with AORs? As long as we get our work permit within 4 months, it is okay. I really hope they can catch up.

Our application was received November 22 and we had gotten our AOR on January 5th. Was able to link the application the same day, perhaps there are an abundance of applications that came end November.

Yes, I was able to link my Open Work permit application .I ensured I kept caps lock on and it went through

I have an acquaintant that went through this same case. CBSA will not send him back as long as he has proof to stay. I’ll advise you go with him, bring along the sponsorship application, and the payment receipts. If it didn’t work tell him to apply for humanitarian and compassionate grounds.

We went to the interview and where issued a inadmissibility order. The CBSA officer didn't even look at our sponsorship receipt, He said CBSA will contact us again in a few weeks for removal interview and at that point we can ask for their consideration to stay in Canada pending spousal sponsorship.

The thing is we don't even have an AOR yet, and im super stressed now knowing a inadmissibility order has been issued. Like does this mean our inland spousal application is invalid?

Sorry to hear this. Have you tried linking your application? I’m not sure if it’s invalid yet otherwsie IRCC would’ve contacted u regarding the sponsorship. I’ll recommend you create a new thread so other members who have dealt with this kind of situation will assist for further solutions.

Did CBSA say why the inadmissibility order was issued? Surely they have some reason which they disclosed to you. Knowing more about why this occurred could help people understand the likely implications of your pending application.

it was not wrongly issued, as my husband is out of status in Canada. however we have submitted a inland spousal application and are waiting for our AOR

Sorry to hear - is restoration of status possible? Or has he been out for a long time? I wish you all the best in getting this sorted out, sure it's not easy. I hope you'll be able to get good guidance on how to proceed.

In online account it says you passed the medical exam. But we haven't submitted it yet, is it a error? We tried to call cic but the lines are too busy we are unable to reach them.

And for the letter from friends family. Can we submit the printouts of scanned letter. Because it will require signatures and friends who are living in another country can only send the scanned letters.

Yes you can send scanned copies of the letters, that's what I did personally with my lawyer and CIC accepeted those letters I guess since I got AOR, if anything CIC would ask for the originals later in the process if they needed to. Just make sure those letters are dated, signed and have the contact information of the senders: full address, phone number, email..

I would also advice you to triple check your file before sending it, check all the documents and forms so you won't have to worry about any mistakes done after you send the file.

Do not ever lose hope and I advice you to seek a professional immigiration lawyer as soon as possible; he/she will be able to further assist you in this matter and fight for you.
Many professional members on the form are going to tell you to do the same; so get help from an immigration lawyer immediately.

I sent my application without police certificate and they still started processing it but I was wondering if they are going to ask me for it or just gonna refuse the pr ? I was able to link both the PR and work permit.
