Guys, the hype is true!!!!!
I was (waaaas) on the train that had it's application approved on the ghost update event (see my signature).
11h29AM brazil-time I emailed the São Paulo Visa Office, with no proof that they would handle my application (last info = sydney), asking about the status.
3 hours passed aaaand:
14h29PM brazil-time (20min ago) IT'S PPPPPPPPRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

Ha ha didn’t have the full text but the gist is this. I wished them happy holidays and told them my holidays won’t be happy because no one has touched my file since August.share it with us too

All PPR guys your holiday just got a little bit more happy. All of you are expected to add 50$ to Canada Party Fund

I have 4 days remaining for my 6 month to complete, should I wait or approach IRCC for update? Or NDVO? Or which agency ?? Secondly, what happens to the application message if 6 month croses, that 20% category? Currently its showing as background check in underway. No additional doc, no biometric required. Help please.

It is preferred cause you may be asked for the reason of not landing in BC. But I guess you have a valid reason since your wife is licenced in Ontario.
So, we just talked to an agent! A very friendly one, who said everything in our case looks good. Status unchanged:

No idea... Maybe that's the current due date on our application? I strongly doubt we will have to wait till March. We will get PPR in January!!
