Document delivery date to IQAS : 11 JULY 2018
Aor 2 :9 Aug 2018

Hi folks ,

Need help here .
IQAS Registered : June 10 th
DOCUMENT Submitted : July 12 th
AOR 1 & AOR 2 - Received on August 8th
ECA : Awaiting .it's been 15 weeks.

Highly disappointing ! The process is very slow.
Close to 5 Months from date of registeration.close to 4 months from date of Submittion of doc.Close to 3.5 months from date of receiving AOR 1 and AOR 2.
Today is November 21st . very poor service.

By going through the thread, I can safely assume that it's now a lapse of 45 days instead of previous 30 days between document delivery by courier and the AOR emails.

So, another 2 months for the assessment makes for more than 3 months which I believe would increase in the near future.

Exactly same delivery date, online it shows submitted, I think at this speed we won't get eca anytime before March. .So I am chilled out and keeping my anxiety in control

It is a complete 6 months process from transcript to assessment,.till that time keep improving score in IELTS

I wonder how WES assess within 3 weeks, my friend applied via WES a month after I applied to IQAS, and he is already in EE pool with ECA and IELTS score

15 weeks = 3 months and 20 days roughly, then 45 days for AOR furthermore, Foreign Holidays which gonna eat roughly 20 days, then we have WES rejecting any institute now and then, Complete Punjab ECA file must have piled up cuz of PTU scandal, I dont see anything coming soon.

So I am waiting for the two applications, first one is in line for processing since 20th oct 2018 delivered on 20 September 2018 and second my friends delivered on 30 October and NO AOR.

If I get my ECA on or before 2nd week of Jan then you can say another one will be by mid-Feb max buh we got stuck in holidays and sudden system update, I doubt to hear from IQAS any time soon

hahaha! I think IQAS is an Institution whose key motto to keep all distance learning candidates off Express Entry and hold them as long as they can,.what a waste of time and money.

I am sailing the same boat.

Most probably, they have asked ur institution to send or IQAS has sent ur docs to recheck the authenticity

I completed my BscNT (Bachelor Of Science in Network Technology) from SMUDE in 2013. I had the Sikkim Manipal Learning Centre in Pune. A couple of weeks back, I received an email from the IQAS Education Assessment Consultant asking this:

For your Bachelor’s degree from Sikkim Manipal University, what campus or study centre did you attend? Where were you located?

I used to pay the fees and get the books from the following centre:

karROX Technologies Ltd. (now known as TALENTEDGE EDUCATION VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED) located in Pune.

After total of 16 weeks of wait time (in total), I received the below today:

Thank you for submitting your educational documents for evaluation to the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS). Apologies for the delay in providing you with an update. Thank you for your patience.

IQAS cannot complete an assessment of your Bachelor of Science because Sikkim Manipal University (Distance Education, Pune, Maharashtra) does not meet the IQAS recognition criteria.

If you paid by credit card/debit card, a refund will be submitted to the same card by our Finance Department.

If you have any questions in this regard, please write to our office.

I am really heartbroken. I do not understand what the issue is. I reverted to the IQAS assessment consultant and received the following reply from her few mins back:

IQAS is aware of the format of study of Sikkim Manipal Distance Education degrees. I understand that the degree is genuine. IQAS has updated its policies in regards to Distance Education. In this circumstance, Sikkim Manipal does/did not have the appropriate recognition from educational authorities in order for IQAS to recognize the credential. Sikkim Manipal is not authorized to offer programs outside of the state of Sikkim. Your student card indicates that the study was completed outside of the state of Sikkim. All information provided has been taken into consideration.

I cannot speak to previous assessments, as our policies do change. IQAS policy and outcomes are reviewed and revised on an ongoing basis and depends on the availability of information from external sources such as institutions, government agencies, and other assessment bodies.

Anyone else facing the same issue?

Everything delivered on 7Oct (in one envelope) and received AoR1 & AoR2 on 28 Novembver. Will you please let me know if your documents were sent in 2 different envelops or one?

Two envelopes. One by me and another by uni. My envelope had my application docs as well as another sealed envelope (inside the first one), that had my undergrads. So even if they opened my application package... they shd see my grad transcripts.

Guess uploading takes time for edu documents status... or theyre just slow as all of us have experienced.

I was hoping AOR2 will come a day or so late.. but Nothing!!

The same is going to happen with me.. I believe Canadian dream is over for me. Let me know if you get any solution to it.
