Hello guys.

Today marks our one year, and weird enough my husband (the applicant) just received a letter saying that the application was transferred to the local office in Edmonton for further assessment of his eligibility.

Those who experienced that can you please help me understanding why it was transferred, and how long this will take?

Thank you

Dec 2016 applicant. Sponsor decision made on Sep 2018. File transfered to Etobicoke on Sep 27, 2018 for further assessment. I miss a call from Immigration Officer on Friday. Called back today at @ 12pm and ask some few questions. My name and date of birth, ask if my wife was with me and spoke to Her. Ask her date of birth and when we expecting our second baby. (We inform IRCC about the second pregnancy) .Then she ask if we take social assistance and how we support ourselves and if my two kids overseas are accompanying. Tricky question because I have only one. Thank me and said I will receive a decision about my eligibility. At 7pm I got a letter that states that I'm eligible to apply for Permanent Resident
Waiting for the landing. Wish all waiting the best of luck and patience. Its a dounting process and stressful I know.
Good luck guys. Further updates will be communicated
