Bryanmarfo18, the complexity of your issue depends if you are a permanent resident of Canada or a Canadian citizen. If you are a permanent resident, then you only need to add your child to the application for your spouse by filling in the generic application for (additional), update the family background form to include your child. Use the web system to send this information and it will be added to your file. Make sure you add the necessary documentation like birth cert.
However, if you are a Canadian citizen, then your child born outside Canada automatically become a citizen as well and cannot be issued with a permanent resident visa. There are exceptions to this rule if you yourself (as a parent) was born outside Canada and the date you became Canadian. Please read more here:
