I totally understand.
My productivity at work was less than 40% yesterday. I spent a third of my time refreshing this forum.
I need this PPR to come so I can get back to being productive.

I already know how much my one way ticket on Emirates cost.
I've taken a break from applying for jobs. I didn't get any response from the few I applied for and I've decided to wait till PPR comes to resume that chore.

I think someone who had file in "approved" status did order GCMS notes in the hope it triggers the PPR email. Can't recall who did that but I think that didn't trigger a PPR email yet.

Its @shishirkona and @CoolSandy who ordered GCMS notes after approval date. Lets see what comes out. After ghost update I was told by the call center agent, My criminality got passed on IP2 day (15 Oct) and Security was completed on Ghost Update date (5th Nov). My file was finalized same day and currently waiting for PPR.
I am pretty sure its all about the batch now. Probably they are just adding applications to the batch which has some sort of quota. Once the batch is full, they will release it. This should be coming within 1st half of December.

Yeah. I think ghost updates after IP2 signals that security is completed.

Agreed. They may be waiting for other June applications to get completed so they can have a good number of pprs to be released in batches.

Nah I don't think that is the case. If you look at your GCMS notes on the second page there is a summary status. There is a heading for "Final:" which I think corresponds to the final decision. Most likely it shows "Approved" when an agent tells you it is approved.

I guess someone who has got the GCMS after the file approval but shows Security under process can better vet that information.

Another point, I think it helps them to keep track of the number of issued visas and landed immigrants. If it was scattered, not a batch then there was a chance of miscommunication between the Visa Offices about the actual figure.

I'll really like to see an approved person's GCMS notes. It'll provide more data to further decode the Approval process.

Side note: I just read earlier someone got something similar then called to find out CIC had sent a physical PPR by mail, maybe you got the same officer? LMAO

I did order GCMS notes after my approval date. Though I ordered just to know the status of my file after moving to IP2 on the 25th October. I ordered notes on the 5th of November. I also sent an e-mail to Ralph same day I ordered notes. His response came in less than 3hours, giving details about my file and confirmed it was approved on the 26th Oct.
I'm yet to receive notes though as it's still less than the 30-35 days timeline.
I earnestly pray for ppr arrival before gcms'

Please share your notes with us when you get it even if it's after your PPR.
