I’m sorry. I meant to ask how you received your AOR not your application.

By mail. To my lawyer they just forwarded it for me

Everyone's case is different but to get a rough idea, count 12 weeks from the date of your application receipt for Medical Requests, 13 weeks for your OWP online approval and 14 weeks for your OWP paper permit to arrive in the mail.
Mostly you would be receiving an email but you should check the statuses on both eCAS and MyCIC starting on the 10th-week mark, especially those who didn't get their AOR emails for whatever reason.

Hopefully this means that we will start having news in the next two weeks!

Nice, mine was submitted sept 6. But my case is different, idont have status here and everything is expired even my passport. So they I received AOR nov 1 I have to apply for my renewal passport so after iwill get my new passport will send it to them hopefully iwill hear from them as soon I pass my passport

I have a question though. I was out of status 2yrs before I sent my application for spousal sponsorship, now my application is on process what is my status? Is it implied? Can I travel around Canada by air even though I’m out of status? My timeline is

Same situation i am out of status for almost three year when isent my application. Were still out of status until our applicationis approve. Once we receive AIP we can apply for work permit.
