Hi guys, When someone enters a SS, is there an email sent making you aware that there will be further verifications done? Or the only way you can see is through gcms notes? Thank you.
No email is sent..
Gcms notes can indicate only if you are in SS
if you need to be certain that you are in SS and exactly when did the SS started you should order CBSA notes that will provide you all these details along with the standard GCMS notes

Hi @legalfalcon. I am jan 2018 aor and my file is at ndvo. Entering 11th month now and eligibility and security not started. I’m tired and frustrated with this wait. Also ndvo never responds too so i am really in the dark. As per my last gcms a month ago there was no activity. Just that case analyst had marked review required for pof in March. But I submitted updated pof. I dont think that should be an issue.

What should i do? This is taking forever.

Hi Everyone

Finally received my PPR yesterday!

AOR Jan 16 2018;
Meds Passed: Feb 5, 2018
NA3: Feb 28, 2018
ADRs (2) around Personal history and Work Experience: Feb 28 then Mar 05, 2018 [replied with few days in both cases]
Medicals asked again: Nov 8th 2018 [Submitted Nov 10]
PPR: Nov 21, 2018

For information of those cases under security / SS
- my file went through security screening which is why it took 10 months after AOR. I had applied for CSIS and CBSA reports about 40 days back and just received my CBSA report today while CSIS report came to me last week. CSIS report did not disclose anything quoting some act allowing them to withhold information - just confirmed that only mine & not my spouse's application came to them.
CBSA report shows the last review date of security was Nov 6, 2018. Makes sense that they asked for medicals again on Nov 8 given they would have expired in the next 2 months.

A query
: My wife and I are currently in different countries for the past few months and this is updated in CIC records. So, can we submit our passports, photos & "Annexure B" to respective VFS centres separately?? Also, I believe Annexure B is supposed to be signed by the primary applicant. Does this mean I have to courier a signed Annexure B to my wife or can she apply with a scanned copy also? Has anyone done this earlier?

Thanks!
Any ideas about my query?

Also, any update in your status - I believe you were also under SS right?
Yeah I am in SS still, 6 months SS coming up by next week :(... what was "clause/section" was mentioned in your CSIS letter?

Regarding your query, i think raise a CSE via the webform requesting IRCC for passport submission i respective countries, let them advise further course of action

They just mentioned that since the screening is in progress, they are exempt from disclosure under sections 15(1), 16(1)a, 16(1)b or 19(1).

I've already dropped an email to CPC-Ottawa email ID regarding separate submission - let's see if the webform is quicker.

And when did you do the first medical test? Thanks
