For those asking, the PPR mail came from the Local Visa Office where I need to submit my passport. Honestly, at first I thought it was a fake mail, being sent in the Spam Folder. I read the body of the email to check for wrong grammar or spelling or information (like wrong UCI or application number). But everythings's correct. The sender is MANILIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca

But please note, that email address is the local email address of manila visa office. I had to check the CIC website to ensure that the email address is legit. Others may need to check the email address of their local visa offices in the CIC website so they can tag the email address as not a spam sender or something (I don't know how they do it in gmail).

I'm sharing my experience so everyone would know the possibility that the PPR mail could in fact be sent in other gmail folders. It might be sitting in other folders for quite sometime without the person knowing. Mine was sitting there for 8 days. And I only have 30 days to submit my passport. Good thing I was able to check my Spam Folder on time.

So, yes, guys, there are a lot of unexpected possibilities. I'm not playing a prank like one user in another group accussed me of.

Good luck to everyone and let's hope for positive results for everyone.

Does status change in cic after getting PPR Email or it stays the same... can you check if possible
Mine hasn't change to date. I got my PPR mail but my CIC account is still in IP2. I heard that the CIC account changes after the visa is stamped on the passport. I'll post an update when my CIC account changes from IP2. I'm submitting my passport next week so I'll post an update after that.

I'm sorry that someone accused you of playing a prank. IRCC message going to spam folder is a very discussed topic in the forums. Thanks again for sharing the info. Hope you will still be active in the group after you get PPR; so that you can read about our happy experiences as well :)

Congrats to all the people who got PPR .

I logged in to my CIC account after a week to see if there is any status change. And my status is at IP1 like an immovable rock.

This reminds me of the Joker's dialogue in the Dark Knight." This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object."

I login ferociously typing away on my keyboard like a keyboard warrior and my same old status stares at me like a trolling statue.Waiting game is irritating.

Maybe it is, but I was told to wait. As long as it is done by an approved Panel Physician, it should be fine.

Don't think of those people who accused you, they are just jealous, LOL ;) and you will meet more of those kinds here in Canada. I have been bullied since I step foot here, but that did not stop me from reaching my dreams. Don't get me wrong, Canada is a very nice place to live in and people living here are mostly kind and very helpful. Those are the people that helped me overcome my sadness while being away from my family. You are blessed to have a very fast timeline and you deserve it!!! So smile my kababayan, and keep on updating us, your story inspired a lot of people here. Congratulations!!!
