It should not hinder anything but they will require a passport with at least validity of 12 Months . So while waiting on ppr you should apply for a new one to submit.

Sorry I just realised you said you went for renewal. This will not cause trouble, don't worry. I had to renew as well and just gave them the new one. No worries

When I applied for my EE-PR, I was in India. Now I have moved to Myanmar and am at IP-2 stage. As and when I get PPR, can I get my visa/COPR from Canadian Embassy here in Myanmar? If yes, what will be the process?

You suppose to inform IRCC offices of any change in contact information which includes change of address.

you have passed the majority of the waiting time... I have only passed 5 days and the waiting process it's killing me

I got a ghost update on 13 Nov too and nothing so far!

A lot of people from August AOR got IP2 followed by a ghost update a week after IP2 and are just waiting now like us

Waiting in IP1 seemed easier than this. The ghost update especially was just so misleading!
