I asked her about eligibility. She said its not started yet.
That may or may not be true. I have seen cases like that where on the call agent said eligibility is not done yet but in the notes person saw case analyst notes. So wait for your notes. Hopefully you will see more details.

Sadly they don't really care if our application is within the 6 month timeline... Having said that I think they won't care even if it was above 6 month timeline. I have read too many horror stories of wait without any apparent reasons. We have no influence or control so all we can do is just wait and wait and wait.
Yaa.. They must have written some really complex algorithm which makes them throw ppr randomly making all of us go clueless about the process

My primary VO is CPC Vegreville and i have not seen any update on my file after Aug 11,2018.

I found this online when i googled my VO.

"In Brief:
Friday, August 31, 2018 was the last day of operation for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) Case Processing Centre (CPC) in Vegreville, Alberta.

Discussion:
In late 2016, IRCC announced that its inland processing centre in Vegreville, Alberta, (“CPC Vegreville”) would be relocated to Edmonton, Alberta by the end of 2018. CPC Vegreville, responsible for processing inland extension applications for temporary residents of Canada, certain permanent residence applications, and more recently, certain work permit applications which qualified for expedited processing under Canada’s Global Skills Strategy, shut its doors permanently on August 31, 2018."

I think this could be causing some people inland PR application delay like mine. any thoughts guys?????

Just got off a call with IRCC. Eligibility still says "review required' and background check not started. The agent confirmed receiving my POF clarification documents which I submitted a couple of weeks back. And for whatever it's worth, my application is still in Ottawa.

i will agree to that as well.. they have acess to info which is like a day or two day old... thats why...why i am saying this from my own exp... so i remeber i called the agent on 23 july.. she was like.. background screening in progress... and thenwithin 20 min ghost update and later in day ppr

Instead of running algorithm if they would have sent manually still we would have received it.
:D:D
Exactly.. Saving their time and our time too
