I don't know , what prompts people to ask such questions on this forum :O It seems , we have someone on this forum who could see their stars and tell them the exact day they will get their PPRs. The most perplexing aspect of such questions is that , the questioner is usually one of the most enlightened person on the PR process. I guess anxiety is the winner here and sanity of our minds is fading away
Do we have an Astrologer in the house ? If you could hear us , please tell when we will get our PPR's . We don't care , whether we are standing at one month or two month landmark, all we care is , since people near us have started getting PPR's , why not I ?? I don't want to understand that every case is unique , all I know is , everyone else file is moving fast , only my file is stuck and I am the only one left behind for a red carpet treatment at the Canadian port of entry . I don't want to realize that PPR is just the tip of the iceberg , real challenge starts once we land there (if lucky enough) and search for a livelihood. All I know is , I am living in hell and once I get PPR , my life will be sorted forever and so I am going mad with every tick of the clock
Well , I guess I need a break from all this after all , it is festive season in my country and I want to enjoy it as usual and wish the best of it to all my fellow dreamers.
You , my friend is fighting for a noble cause , "Sanity of mind" . Kudos! to you.

Yes, surely you can travel ,but if it involves longer stays then you need to inform CIC for an address update. I guess more informed forum members can assist you on this, as your's is a very genuine case. It is highly likely you should get PPR in November but December dates too cannot be undermined and since you are going away for a month , you may have to face the speculated situation I am not sure one month of stay counts as a time frame to be informed to CIC ,so better wait for a more specific answer.

Hello you all! I am an Indian living in the USA. My AOR date is 6th of August. I got my MEP passed on Aug 28th. Since then, I have not had any updates. This is driving me impatient because my roommate who applied for PR 6 days before I did, got the PR approved and passport stamped 1 month ago. Any advice will be much appreciated. Is there a whats app group I can join?

Same situation as yours. My AOR was 4 days before yours. No updates beyond medicals passed. I'm also FSW-O and US based. My lawyers told me not to fret till 6 months is up and also told me not to bother with online statuses since they simply aren't reliable. Many people get their PPR straightaway without their online status having changed through the stages.

I am a newbie here. I received the following message from CIC on 18th Oct 2018

"This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada in the Federal Skilled Worker class. In order for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada to process your application, we will need to review and verify your Education Credential Assessment (ECA) evaluation report by using World Education Services (WES)’s online service. To date, we have not been able to verify your report. WES has indicated that you did not use the approved CIC-FSWP application process on their website, and therefore they are unable to release any information to our office. Further, WES has notified our office that they sent an email to you on October 17 , to inform you of this situation. In order to allow IRCC to process your application for permanent residence, please contact WES as soon as possible to request that your ECA report be made available to us. Please be advised that you may need to order a duplicate report and select CIC as a recipient of your WES evaluation report. NOTE: The above information/documents must be received and our office must be able to review the report within 30 days from the date of this correspondence. If this deadline is not met, your application will be assessed based on the information that was provided with your application and your application could be rejected."

and this is what I got from WES in an email "
IRCC has informed WES that they cannot verify your ECA report. This is due to the incorrect application choice as the WES FSWP customized application was not selected. In order for Immigration Refugee Citizenship and Immigration Canada to process your immigration application, they will need to verify your ECA report using WES’s online service.
To allow CIC access to your ECA report, you will need to order a duplicate report by logging in to your account at https://applications.wes.org/createaccount/login/login Please be advised that you are required to upgrade your file to WES ICAP before you order duplicate report, if you did not have an ICAP service on your original application."

I have upgraded the file to WES ICAP and ordered the duplicate report to CIC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada(IRCC)
Sydney, NS), delivery method is eDelivery.

I can see the additional document request in the submitted application with the following details - Document Details - Replacement Overdue, Document Name - Client Enquiry and a button to upload. There is no information/instructions regarding what needs to be uploaded.

Any idea what all you uploaded for this option? Please help

Me too with same AOR. I ordered my GCMS notes as I wanted to know if my file is in Montreal visa office.

Yes, my brother, I totally agree with you. The real ordeal will be struggling in initial days in Canada. Today or tomorrow we all have our PPR in hand, but in order to do that, keep calm down yourself.

Medical passed 8 SEP and ip2 same day...it's been above 2 months that no email or any update in my cec....I have been following this forum and very informative I would say ...so I would like to know anybody who is the in the same boat as I am...and when can we expect any change ???
