How to prove my application to HR

Hi there,
I im in kind of bad situation right now.
I have applied my PR and Open work permit on August 2018. I have got a file number and application number stuff from CIC. I am still waiting for my open work permit.

but the thing is my PGWP will be expired on end of October 2018 and My work HR wants me to prove of my applications.

I am not sure how to prove this.
Anyone has an idea or same situation solved before??

Did you not notify HR about the possible gap between the 2 work permits?
It could take 4 months for the OWP. So you may need to arrange for a month off before you get your next permit.

Either way once your permit expires you are not permitted to continue working until your OWP is approved
