1. What documents did you submit for your business/company? And for the exhibition?

2. Did you explain why it is necessary for you to attend this exhibition/how it will help your business?

3. Would you be meeting any Canadian companies/customers during your visit? If yes, can you prove it?

4. Did you prepare a day-by-day plan with detailed estimates for every aspect + airfare + hotel, etc?

5. What strong ties did you demonstrate to Pakistan: Business audit statement/Profit-Loss balance sheet, office lease, employees, family ties, property ownership, financial investments, etc?

@Bryanna what i am feeling it is that a commonly from Pakistan if anyone is applying for exhibition so he went china uae bahrain then europe and then UK etc and then US or Canada isn't it too early to apply for Canada for a exhibition you know they took time for even a trv of visit and when it comes to business or attend something so they got more strict because you know in UK every month there are exhibitions so why not uk or eu first then canada? does it make any sense to you?

so that is obvious purpose of VISIT like why you want to come Canada.
second travel history you know it is less as per Canada visa standard .

Not necessarily. Someone can travel to Canada first and then visit these other countries.

The key point is the visit justified? Does the applicant's company/employer have a presence in Canadian markets or in North America? Do they intend to sell into these markets? Or are the exhibitions in North America so specialized/niche that similar exhibitions are not available in other countries across the world? I guess not.

IMO, if someone is regularly visiting China and the UAE to attend exhibitions then s/he most probably has a product/machine range that caters to the masses.... or low-cost substitutes as compared to products/machines manufactured in Europe/North America. It is not easy to sell into these markets without having the necessary certifications, local reps, local business partnerships, etc. No idea why the OP wants to visit Canada

It does not work this way. Unfortunately, your application lacked the documents to convince the visa officer about your purpose of visit. Business works differently in Canada (or even in the US and Europe) as compared to that in Asia.

It would be a bit unrealistic to attend an exhibition and hope to start a business with a Canadian company right away.

Also, for your visa application, you had not demonstrated that you had considered other product brands/manufacturers in Europe.

1. Did your customer apply for a TRV as well?

2. Sometimes the customer would also want to meet potential Canadian companies. But, this does not seem to be the case.

3. As your customer knows the specific Canadian product/manufacturer to replace the Chinese products then your customer could consider interacting directly/purchasing these products directly from the Canadian company, right?

Hope you can see how this purpose of visit comes across from a visa perspective
