Finally, after more than 10 yrs of being out of status, I received the email today for my permanent residence interview on Oct 16.
I'm a Sept 28,2017. I got the AIP Sept 25, never received a DM letter, it's only in ECAS that shows decision made.
Congrats.

Did you have any delay or problems for being out os status?

Guys i hve a quick question.

My husband got his AIP approval and I have SA approval as well and our ECAS shows DM on both sides.

My husband's parents want to visit us here but because he was out of status they couldnt. Can they come now??? Like on visitor visa or something without any issues of being declined.

I would be sending them the invite letter and everything though .

Edit: I'm also out of status so couldn't apply for OWP.

My parents came march this year when I only had AOR. I wrote them an invitation letter too, stating that they would stay with my husband and I. We put both our names, passport numbers, address and signatures. They don't speak english but they didn't have any problems with customs. They both had returning tickets and my mom stayed for 3 months, my dad only 1 month.

It's really up to you but I just wanted to share my experience. :)

I just got email form CIC asking for additional proof of relationship, I need your advice:
as a proof I submitted:
photos, letters from friends and family and the building manager, our communication via emails/chat, etc. Also, he has me on his MSP plan and we share phone plan (both names on the same plan), we submitted the ID's showing the same address, and we filed taxes together for this year (we didn't send a proof for that because we filed after we sent the application in).

I have been dating my partner since 2015, and we started living together in July 2016 (he moved to my apt, and we didn't add him to the lease because that would increase the rent, but the building manager provided a letter stating that my partner live with me in the apt).
We don't have hydro bill together as we didn't think it was necessary, it's on my name only.

What do you suggest to send as MORE proof, or what to do? This is making me really anxious, I appreciate your suggestions <3
you could submit joint bank account with both of your names listed, if you have internet invoice bill for example - either with both of your names or at least one of you with the address indicated , any other communication/letters/invoices addressed to the PR applicant (or both of you), we did submit a copy of lease agreement with both names in our PR application (we submitted only IDs showing the same address, lease agreement and joint bank account + pictures - no extra proof was requested ) - but I hear this may add extra costs to your expenses...

Hey Guys I had a quick question,
My Wife who I have sponsored has her interview scheduled for October 16th for in land sponsorship
Sir/Madam:
I am pleased to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residence will be finalized at an interview that has been scheduled for:
DATE: Tuesday, October 16, 2018
Location: Federal Building, 55 Bay St.N, Hamilton (Use the Market Street Entrance)
In order to grant you permanent residence, you must provide us with satisfactory original identity documents. All applicants must provide their original valid passport at the landing interview.
You must attend the interview with the following:
 Your own interpreter, if required 
* Your Sponsor (only if applying under the Family Class application) 
* 2 Photos for each person on this application (no photo of sponsor needed) taken within the last 12 months - see enclosed appendix for specifications
* Proof of current employment or termination of welfare benefits (for independent or sponsored persons only- including Live-in Caregivers) * All documents issued to you by Citizenship and Immigration Canada

My concern is the proof of current employment part. My wife has never been employeed in Canada. I have taken care of her financially ever since she has been here and she has definitely not been on welfare benefits. I'm at a loss as to what we should bring to the interview to answer this? And is there a specific reason they asked this on our interview list as I don't see that listed in many other people's interview invitation?

Just bring a recent paystub and your most recent notice of assessment from CRA. There is no minimal income requirement for spousal sponsorship category. If they ask how you guys plan to support yourselves (and I would be actually surprised they do), just show that you are working and that you had income last year as well.

Congrats.

Did you have any delay or problems for being out os status?
Nope, it's on time. They didn't asked for any other documents, no fingerprints, no police clearance from my country. And I didn't use lawyer to help me with this application. I think as long as your truthful about everything in your application, there's nothing to worry about.

Thank you. I have a letter stating that I have been in this apt from 2014, and we will submit that and the explanation why my partner is not on the lease. Also, we have a bunch of emails where we invite friends over for dinner to OUR place (some emails even have our address mentioned). Also we will open joint bank account, and we already sorted out Hydro, Telus, taxes, FB relationship status, letters sent to us showing the same address etc. Also we share ownership of our pet, and will send that document too:) Now they are getting extra 100 pages of proof:)
Also, my partner got approved as SA a day after they requested more proof.

Is here anyone got the calling from IRCC ? I just got one , but I thought they are liar , so hung up. If this is real, what they usually ask?
Yes we got a call it's quite normal if they have a question regarding your application. They don't ask standard questions it's case specific.

You got yours completed before we did and we were in status :p Congrats and it will be a huge weight lifted for you now.
