Passports don't get stamped for inlanders (and when they do, it's only for people that are not visa-exempt). You will receive your COPR at your interview.

It says: We are ready to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR). In order to finalize your permanent residence, you may now present yourself to the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) office listed below:

.... "

We have to bring some documents... So I am gessing that we do not have to do any interview at this point?

Well, then, what you have to do now is present yourself at the IRCC office with a copy of this letter and anything else they have asked you to bring. You will speak with an officer that with issue your COPR. That is your landing interview. It's just a formality

You are approaching the end. All you are missing now is decision made, and a letter for your interview. From what I have seen, you can expect to hear again from them within about a month for the interview if all is good.
In every spouse we receive interview or they can sometime waive of the interview ???

You cannot become a permanent resident of Canada without some form of interview...every one goes through one, whether it be through flagpoling, on the phone, at a port of entry, etc...You need to speak to an immigration officer at some point.

I don't understand this question. The person I was replying to must go to a landing interview, like all couples that apply inland.

Hi everyone I really need your help!
My boyfriend had a hearing a month ago as a refugee claimant, and he was rejected. He is in Canada for 7 years, and apparently nothing was good enough to grant his stay. Now we are desperate, and we don't know what to do. We didn't expect this! I want to apply for inland sponsorship, but I have some doubts. We've been living together for more than one year but problem is I never changed my address. I was also finishing my papers for immigration so I left my old address as it is, which is my mom's address actually. Now we don't have proof of us living together. And also, I am a student, but I work part-time. How should I prove them that I can support him financially, and is that going to be an issue? Is it doing to be a problem because he was rejected as a refugee claimant? Anything helps. Thank you!

Hi @Amyroy !

Thank you for sharing your timeline.

Hey all!

I'm just starting a new thread here for anyone recently going through the Quebec Spouse Sponsorship!
Maybe we can help eachother out! :)

So far, my husband and I have submitted our application package + OWP to the CIC office in Mississauga.
We have received an email yesterday for the Principal Applicant to link the UCI and Application Number with the GCKey... Unfortunately, we were not able to link the application. Will try again tonight.

Does anyone know if this emails confirms that my husband (PA) now has an "implied status" to remain in Canada? Torrent TurboTax Gogoanime His tourist visa ends December 2... We would like to know asap to make sure he remains in Canada legally!

Let us know if you're in the same boat! :)
This email shows that the application has all that they requirement for sponsorship. You should hold up to catch wind of OWP. He does anyway have suggested status until the point when you hear back about the OWP and a choice is made. No compelling reason to expand

How did you add your case from your tracker in your signature, please?

Hi @melito !

Here is the link to MyImmiTracker

I'm on August 2018 Spousal Sponsorship Applicants Tracker, but you can search or create on specific for Quebec applicants.

You just need to create your profile and fill with your information and current timeline. When you open your case you'll find two buttons (Edit signature and Click to copy). So, edit your signature, copy the link and then paste in your profile SIGNATURE here.

I hope it helps,
André
