Today's draw finished at 441 and my score was 451 as per the profile submitted. I haven't received anything. Am I selected?

Are we supposed to to get ITA right after the pool is done?
Oh no, here we go again for the nth time...

As per Canada.ca:

Rank required to be invited to apply: 3,500th or above

Date and time of round: September 19, 2018 at 11:29:46 UTC

CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 441

Tie-breaking rule: September 6, 2018 at 10:28:45 UTC

I submitted my application on Sept. 17th
Hello, You have to wait at least 24 hours before receiving the ITA email, it happens with most applicants, don't worry it's just a matter of time, all the best.

This is probably the most asked question on the forum and most people are fed up answering it over and over again. The answer to your question is no. Please review how the process works on the IRCC web site.
My bad. I just received it. :)
Have 60 days to apply. Joy overshadowed by thinking how to prove POF as there is no way I can have that amount before 60 days unless I borrow it from my brother :(

A notarised Gift deed from your brother will solve your problem.

I saw a youtube video

Mentioning that a gift deed and an affidavit should suffice. Sample gift deed and affidavit are also shown. They both appear to be handwritten and signed from both parties. Is it that simple?
Also, the 5-6 months bank statement is optional but supports the application. However, a letter from the bank stating the 6 month average and closing statement is necessary.

It appears in my case that the 6 month average is obviously well below the required amount but getting it topped up with a gift deed makes the closing statement as per the required amount.
Is it fine if the amount is transferred and the gift deed is made right away for APR, as APR duration is only 2 months, meaning without the amount completing its maturity period of 6 months as a norm?

Yes it's fine if the gift deed is made right away. Even right now.
However I'll advise you to take some time to read more (about your questions as all answers are here) on this forum because a youtube video will not suffice.

@PawanKapoor89 I know your frustration and anxiety as i also got rejection when I submitted my application first time, but the reason was officer was not satisfied with proof of sibling residency. Applied again and gave all the details about first rejection. They have a place to write why the rejection happened and i also included it in LOE.
And about people who say IRCC can not access information about our bank balance are not well informed. People got rejection just because of change in balance due to change in exchange rate and balance going down just few dollars. They can get information about our bank balance, our background and even social media.
In your case, was the loss of points due to lack of proof significant, ie, did your recalculated CRS drop below the cut-off in your round of invitations? Or did IRCC reject your application simply because you didn't have enough evidence to back up your claim despite meeting the CRS cut-off with your new CRS?

I find myself in a somewhat similar situation - I've claimed FSW points for my Canadian aunt but unfortunately I have no document which proves that she's my mother's sister. So, in order to understand how IRCC's decision making works, I would be grateful if you could share your experience!

Thank you for your time, and have a great day!

@PawanKapoor89 and @fazilasadiq

I'm the living proof that IRCC cannot access our bank statements. After AoR, I moved my money around and for nearly 3 months I had less than the necessary amount of funds in my account. I submitted my 6 months bank statements and a letter from bank on its official letterhead, and waited for 4 months. I was pretty clear in my head that at the time of submitting my proof of funds, I should demonstrate that I have complete access to my funds. That's it.

I got PPR last week.

I'm not endorsing that others do what I did. I just wanted to prove that Pawans rejection could be legally challenged. They are supposed to send you a procedural fairness letter and it appears that the officer did not do that. More than that, I wanted to prove that they couldn't access our accounts coz if they could, I should have ended up in the same situation as the OP.

To clarify, they can verify whether the documents you've submitted to them are genuine or not (this is a part of the terms and conditions text that no one reads before submitting their application), but they CANNOT call up your bank and ask for your bank balance. As someone said, you need a court order to do that!!

One of my friends went through the same situation and I'll repeat what I told her.

If you can provide concrete proofs and documents linking your relationship to your aunt, go ahead.

If you can't provide enough proofs, ensure that you don't fall below 67 points in the eligibility threshold.

She provided what she could and she explained in LoE that even if they don't consider points for her aunt, she still had more than 67 points. It worked and she got PPR.

Thank you so much for your advice!

I stand at 68 points without the relationship, so I'm good. What I wanted to understand was - is the lack of acceptable proof going to be reason enough for an outright rejection even though I meet the eligibility threshold without the relative points?

It appears not to be so from your friend's case, but I want to be extra careful with my application. I was debating withdrawing the claim altogether...

Thanks again.

I do this for the living and I can confirm that no authority can have access to your bank account unless:
1. you have yourself granted permission at the bank or a notary office
2. there is a court decision that allows the public attorney's office to do that.

other than that, other government authorities are allowed to verify the authenticity of a released document (banks included) and that's what they do (in other word, IRCC can only ask, the bank in this case, if they have released such document or not.

I am a bank Internal Auditor btw and this applies to EU countries

I can assure you that you won't be rejected as you would meet the thresholds even without your aunt's points.

Ok guys- So I have this weird situation. I got AOR on 27 July. I submitted POF to IRCC which was around 5 times the amount required. Now the problem is the currency in which I have showed my POF has depreciated a lot (INR) and its expected to go down further. I am losing money almost everyday and I would like to move money out of the country. But people say that you need to maintain the money till the time you land.

So I was thinking of moving the excess money over minimum required out now and maintain the minimum with some buffer so that in case IRCC asks for POf in can show that I have the money maintained. But will it be an issue as the POF submitted in eapr would have 5 times the actual balance?
