From experience, it updated at the same time. I got the email and ecas was also updated. I check daily when I got the AOR.

Wow thats' amazing Angelflyr. I am surprised. Congrats! You applied from Toronto which is probably the slowest. And you are not in any special category.... You are either a star performer with sterling record or a special test case :)

Thanks! I’m neither but my file is very recent *I think* because I also sponsored my parents and DM last May. I got lucky with the case officer abd even on the interview after the test. She was very pleasant and only asked me what I can tell about myself with some chitchat. She did mention that I’m the most current application she’d seen.

Do they always interview with you after the test? or this was only identity check sort of thing?

Everything Went smooth except that the CIC letter had asked for photocopy of my passport. CIC officer didntd ask forit, and I also forgot to give it

Will this be an issue? What should I do?

Yeah, they check your passport and see if what you put in the travel history is correct.

What is your current county passport holder? and did you visited any countries after landed in Canada? if yes then like less or more trips?

Asking to understand that CIC process: if an applicant had visited then processing time is normal/varies but none visited then like you - very fast file to clear.
