if by the time you get PPR request they dont have 6 months or more validity you will be asked to submit new passports.
I received an ITA and I have 8 months left on my Passport.

Can I apply with this passport and when I receive the PPR, Can i submit the new Passport

Basically, wanted to check, if I apply with Passport validity of 7-8 months, will there be any issue to my file at this stage as all my PCC’s and Medical have this Passport number.

I think you can apply now with current and then get it renewed. if you get PPR submit the new passport. my wife's passport had the same issue, 9 month validity when we applied. we got PPR and submitted her new passport.

Hi All,

I have a query. In the EE Profile, if one has a Non Accompanying spouse, received ITA, and now filling up the Post ITA application, what should be stated for Spouse work experience? She has some work experience, but no supporting documents available.

1. Can he simply state Homemaker for her? Is that ok.

2. If he declares work experience, will the document checklist generated ask for her supporting documents of work experience?

What is the correct approach?

Please advise.

Thanks.

Put her work exp in personal history section, you don't need to provide documents

Thanks. But what did you declare while filling up the spouse work experience details? Because, that’s a part of the application they are asking at this time.

Also, is your application approved / received PR or in process?

Thanks for your support.

I added her original work experience. Note that she is already a PR but she doesn't live in Canada. The status is in my signature, I'm in post ITA stage.

The PCC issued by PSK do not mention addresses

Thank you so much, another query, PLEASE HELP I am in the process of gathering all my documents, one of friend who is also applying for her PR through a consultant told me that she has been instructed to submit the salary slips OR form 16 (also since my HR refused to mention the CTC on the reference letter) I was planning to submit my form 16 (as I can't possibly get the salary stubs for 3 years) BUT until now i never realized that I have not updated my address on the pan card - its a very old address - totally confused now if I should submit my form 16 at all? Because the address doesn't correspond with my passport OR it is a no matter?

Vivek tere dost kaa consulant bohot bada C... hain... :D
you need a letter of reference in which you need start/end date, job duties and responsibilities and monthly or annual salary mentioned tha'ts it..
if your HR is not providing the CTC, show them the link where IRCC is asking for these details to be furnished...

Proof of work experience
Purpose
To prove each work experience claim and to validate that the applicant meets program requirements

Document requirements
  • The personalized document checklist in applicants’ online account prompts the applicant with an upload field for each work experience declared.
  • At the completeness check, the processing office determines only whether the required documents are included. The validity or fraudulence of the information is assessed only if and when the application is placed into processing.
The following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared:

  • a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
    • should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
    • should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits; and
  • if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience).
If the work experience is in Canada, proof may include copies of T4 tax information slips and notices of assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency (the time period for these documents should reflect the work experience timeframe [e.g., work experience from 2006 to 2008 requires only documents from those calendar years]).

Letter of Reference, Offer Letter and Salary Increment chalsakta hain (its all subject to review of case officer (remember the board exam days)).
Although not required, but you can also include the bank statement showing the salary credits to provide the rock solid backup documentation.
Tax return in India is good within India re... idhar koi nahin pochega...
