Hi everyone,

I filled out my Express Entry profile this week. Despite having all the requirements in place my application was denied within minutes of submission. Does anyone know why that is?

It was updated as ineligible.

Does anything indicate that might be triggering the ineligibility?

Out of the above info, the only thing I can think about, is the 1 yr 1 month work exp...
Can you tell me when did finish degree and when did you start working ?

Certainly! I finished with my undergraduate in May 2017. Have been working in the same job since August 2017.
I am not sure if this will be helpful. Try waiting until September. My POV is maybe CIC considers Aug 2017-Aug 2018 as 12 months. So give it just one more week.

At the end of each entry of Canadian work experience, there are (or used to be?) a series of 2-3 questions that a lot of people (used to) mess up...

For example, if you answered "yes" that your work experience was gained under a study permit, it would not be eligible... Presumably you were working under a PGWP so the answer should be "no." Check those questions...

The profile gives points "early" - it considers Aug 2017-July 2018 as one year (hence the well-known problem of people getting ITAs before they are eligible), because in the profile you only enter month and year. So this isn't the problem...

Do I need a LMIA if I am working under a PGWP?
