Hi guys, Im Oct 11 applicant. Haven't heard anything since I passed the medical in May. Ordered my GCMS notes July 26, just got the notes today. according to the notes, my sponsor's eligibility hasn't' started yet. It shows my criminality in process info sharing complete, and there is RCMP screening updated 1/30/2018 status "No Reportable Trace". I don't see the Organizations and entities as someone mentioned before. Anyone knows if it is normal?and what else important information I can get from the notes?Thank you.

Guys, a Nov 30 applicant got SA and AIP. The letter came from innovation hub Winnipeg. Maybe now they have 3 places processing applications.

I’m really for that. Otherwise the order is kinda crazy. LoL
What!? That gave my heart a little punch. Hahaha

EDITED: Just checked the Facebook group.

Wow really! I'm a Nov applicant, I really hope they started. However it could be a mistake for example the AOR is Nov 30

Guys i need ur help !!
I FINALLY GOT THE PRELANDING LETTER STATING THAT THEY ARE READY TO FINALIZE MY PR AND THEY GAVE ME THE ADDRESS WHERE WE SHOULD GO TO IN MONTREAL.
THEY ASKED TO PAY THE 490$ FEES.
When we have applied we have paid 1040$ for the whole application including the PR FEES.
NOW THEY REQUEST TO BRING A COPY OF THE PAID INVOICE BUT THE INVOICE SAYS $1040 and not $490.
Do u have any idea if it works? Also they didnt give any appointement we should go within the date they asked.. to get the COPR!
Do u guys know if we can go apply for the SIN AFTER THAT? Thank uuu alllll
Yes the 1040$ includes the fee for the sponsor 75$, PR application fees 475$ and the RPRF (right of permanent residence fee) 490$. So bring that receipt, this is what you need.

SIN, yes as soon as you have your CoPR, you can go to a service Canada office and get a permanent SIN. There is one at a walking distance from CIC office in Montreal.

Thanks for all your help! Update - we received an interview request today as well!!! Super excited and a bit nervous. From what I hear, it's usually nothing to worry about though.
Indeed, really nothing to worry about!

I'll tell about our case. I ordered our GCMS on March 8th 2017 (it was actually the second time I ordered them). You get them like 30 days later, but the info is according to the date you ask them.
So, on March 8th 2017 our notes were stating that my eligibility as a sponsor was not started, that the eligibility of my wife (PA) was not started and I don't remember other details, but it was almost like nothing was started. Then on March 20th, we got SA and AIP. Then on March 21st we got DM. And we got these GCMS notes on April 8th or so.
So why do I tell you that story? Because you see that when they get everything they need (security checks were long for my wife), they process everything fast. March 8th notes showed nothing, and 13 days later we had DM.
So, don't stress with the process, it's just a matter of time.

You will be both together, you both have to be present. You will not be separated for questions.
Questions are very simple. They will ask him if he ever committed a crime, if he was ever denied entry to Canada or ordered to leave Canada, if he has any dependants that are not already listed on the application and when was his last entry in Canada. Then they will ask him to read his CoPR and confirm there is no mistake. He will sign it and then they will tell him: congratulations you're now a permanent resident of Canada.
To you, they might ask if you still want to sponsor him, but they don't always ask. This will last maximum 10 minutes.

So you might stress about the party to plan for after it's officially done, but not for the interview itself ;):D!!!
