Just a curious question- does anyone know if ordering GCMS notes trigger any movement on the file? (this sounds like a very silly question to me and the answer is most likely NO but I read it on 2-3 forums so just needed to validate based on any experiences!!)

People can definitely share their experience but again, it would still be an assumption and can not validate the statement. If only someone from IRCC is here to answer that question correctly

Same thought.. have read it in a few forums and am myself planning to order tomorrow.. I am at 63 days since AOR .

I called CIC today, agent told me that I have cleared my eligibility and only security check is left. Does anyone know how long do they take to complete the security check?

MEP- 26th June
IP2- 17th August

Did you get any update on your profile or you recieved an email, which tells you that you are in IP2 on August 17th?

May 2018 AOR thread has barely 140 pages. Jan(!) 2018 AOR thread has 218 pages.

June 2018 AOR is hitting 250 - that tells us about patience level of June applicants!

Yep you are right. The status was not accirate posted at my end. My current status is :

Review of eligibility- We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Review of medical results- You passed the medical exam.

Review of additional documents - We do not need additional documents.

Interview -You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

Biometrics -We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.

Background check- Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

Final decision- Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.


Is anyone exactly sailing in the same boat? Kindly share your AOR and MEP dates too.

Me, too. My timeline is in my signature. Nothing happened since June 15th.

Did you get IP2 status update after medical passed??

Aor:16-6-18
Got UIC : 5-7-18
BG : in process
MED: 13-7-18
BG : we are processing
Biometric from my visas work added on the 1 -8-18
I checked every day twice my account , No ADR, Call IRCC t3 times,
Ghost and email PPR 20-8-18
Passort sent 21-8-18
Hope that all the people of june will get it sooner

August 11, 2018 - Reference letter submitted (instead of offer letter wording change)

August 20, 2018 - Called IRCC agent to check the status. Agent said "I have passed the eligibility and back ground check is started". Am not sure if the reference letter submitted last week is accepted or not and they said they are not sure if the concerned person reviewed my reference letter since it has been a week since I submitted.

If my eligibility is passed (although not updated in my CIC account), can I safely assume that my reference letter is accepted? Is there a way to confirm this or to get the status of my application since it has been 70 days passed since I submitted my application?

@cansha If this is what is going on with our application, i guess the timeline makes sense ? And also the random LinkedIn view that i found last week ?

I hope you are correct. It is possible. I should have kept LinkedIn email option open I guess.

Yes if eligibilty is pass or recommended pass your reference letter is fine

Am not sure if eligibility is passed after I submitted my reference letter (Last week). The expectation from me was to provide a change of wording in offer of employment and it was clearly mentioned that if I couldn't suffice their ask they could refuse my application. However I couldn't provide whatever they ask because of my employer norms. Hence submitted my reference letter from my superior and I was not sure if they have changed my eligibility as passed after reviewing this. And please note that in my CIC account, it was still mentioned as

I am really concerned if everything is okay or is there a way to confirm this? Please share your thoughts!
