FYI, I called the IRCC and 1st guy told me (and his name is Mario, I have had just awful time with him and this is my 2nd time that I got him, so be aware!!) that my mom's case has been transferred to Mississauga office as of Aug 1. But then when I called back yesterday, the lady who was very informative and helpful told me that the file is in "transit" which means that the file has NOT left the Scarborough office yet.
I see that many of us are getting oath invites from Mississauga office (congratulations!!) which means those files have been already transferred to the office. Rest of them are still in transit, so it might take longer time... just the thoughts I wanted to share with you all!
My mom will be traveling for a couple of months from Sep 9, and the chances of her getting oath prior to this is very slim I suppose. Yup, I notified IRCC for those unavailability.

Yes,some agents are very rude, I have been told "in transit" since last week, I just called again and someone very nice told me that the application is still in Scarborough, but it'll be transferred to Mississauga,so I asked, does it take two weeks to transfer? Then she said, rest assured there is nothing wrong with your application, we're within 12 months timeline, and maybe the officer who had your application is swamped or on Vacation so he plans to transfer to Mississauga. I'm Nov 17 applicant, but I see end of Nov applicants are getting invite, and my application is somewhere in between with no guarantee

During my interview I saw that officer had a physical file with my actual application papers. I thought it would be all digital in this day and age.

The clear file containing the Citizenship certificate also had a photo I submitted along with my application, but not affixed to the certificate. What are we supposed to do with it?

To people who have their oath at CNE on august 21st: what's the time stated? I am asking cuz the time on my invitation is handwritten and not printed so wanted to double check with others. Plus my ECAS hasnt been updated yet with the oath invitation so thats strange

Thanks!

27 Nov 2017 My application was received.

04 April 2018 I did the test - Decision Made got updated a few days later

17 August 2018 Received an email about the ceremony date

10 Sept 2018 - Ceremony Date

Btw I don't know if a mail has been sent to me, because ever since I started the citizenship application I HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY MAIL, even though the address of course is correct. That didn't bother me because I kept receiving emails, but it might be useful for someone to know this info
