Working in Canada as a 17 yr old

So I have a valid Study permit but it states that I can not work with it.
I am 17 and will be attending grade 11 from sept 4.
If there is any amendment or changes i can make on my Study permit please tell me so.

No - there are no amendments possible.

You cannot work while in Canada on a study permit at the high school level.

But I've seen students work while in high school. Is it only for Canadian citizens ?

Yes - only for Canadian citizens and Canadian permanent residents. You cannot work since you are on a study permit.
