Hi all,

I lodged my file after job bank became optional. I received my AOR on 4th of April and Medical is clear. But ever since then , there's no update. Its been more than 4 months and I am still stuck in IP1. Where from the comments I can see i am not the special one and I have also lodged the notes a week ago, I just wanted to make sure that having no Job Bank Account is no an issue here? I mean, can it cause any damage or can it have a good impact on our file while its not mandatory anymore??

I don't think it'll make any difference whether you have a JOB Bank Account or not.
You should order GCMS notes though.

The account will show "updated" but no change inside. You'll receive the PPR via e-mail only. Remember to check your spam folder.

Ghost updates do not necessarily mean PPR. If it is the case, you should wait a couple days. Also, as I said before, remember to check your spam folder.

Are you sure it in IP2?
I thought it is in IP1 stage, because in IP2 stage, background check status is supposed to be "Background check in progress".

Hello, relatively new filer here! Did you all have extensive travel history? I saw on other threads that extensive travel is a reason that IP1 might take longer time. While I didn't visit many countries, I do have 3-4 india-usa trips and 1 germany trip.

I am in IP1 since July 13th and I am wondering if I should be ready to put this on the back burner and forget about it for a while. he he! I am applying from US, but resident of India.
