Criminality is based on PCC you submit. It is security/background checks which can be time consuming, differs for every applicant.
What did agent tell about eligibility?
Eligibility is in still under review. He didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know from the CIC account. I've been in IP2 since July 11th!

Eligibility has two reviews, one by case analyst and another by case officer. Next time if you happen to call, ask if eligibility has been recommended passed atleast. One needs to be very specific for the call to be fruitful.

so the PCC we submit is proof we didn't do shit... but still they do very basic criminality check on Der behalf... ( not ground breaking).. but background check is extensive

Yeah, I had a bad time trying to get photos at Walgreens, too... the folks at CVS actually worked with me but the photo quality was severely lacking. I ended up taking some passport photos at a Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada last time I visited. Cost me about the same as Walgreens/CVS but 1000000% better experience and quality.

As far as I know they usually only hang on to your passport for a few days. It's fairly quick. Check out that tracker that was just posted. :)
ohh yeah.. if in Canada.. screw Walgreens and Cvs... Shoppers drug mart is awesome.. they have great collection of perfumes too

AOR June 19th.
MEP - July 4th
Not sure which stage of IP. But the status is this since July 4th - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

I am applying via CEC - within Canada.

I got two questions. Which stage of IP2 I am in? How long does it take after this?

Good luck to everyone again! Let's keep an eye on these ghost updates, and hope for the best with our golden email.

I predict we're going to see a few June 25-29 AORs getting their PPR this week :) For those who don't know, we just had a long weekend (yesterday was Civic Holiday) which is why things have been going a little bit slower the last few days.

AOR June 19th.

Your application is at IP2. But for further information, you'll need to get in touch with CIC.
