Anyone from the first round PGP 2017 that was not yet asked for Police Reports? In my case they passed the medicals, then no movement on the application whatsoever.

Just a quick question ... I have not been able to connect the application online with myCIC ...

London office has sent email requiring: newly filled schedule A (imm5669), police certificate and medical ...

Can I just reply to that email and attach all the documents required? or do I have to send them through mail (tight timing just 30 days given) ...

Please reply back soon if you have attached the documents in email and CIC received them ...

how they are asking? I sent by mail, sometimes scan is enough

Hello Guys, now this is tricky and new to me.
They updated status saying Document type counterfoil validity until next year may.
does that mean my parents needss to re entere canada again to get PR? My Parents are already in Canada.

No. It means that the issued Visa are valid for entry into Canada till 2019 May. Your parents can enter into Canada anytime between now and May 2019. The first time they will enter, the IRCC officer will cancel out this Visa counterfoil stuck in Passport and issue a SIN # and apply for their PR card. Every PR Visa counterfoil is single entry only.

Since your Parents are already in Canada, take a road trip to US and your parents will return to do Landing process as PR. On that day, the PR visa will be cancelled out and PR card will be applied.

How do they count 6month expiration for PCC tho ？ I remember spousal sponsorship is 6 months prior AOR date

My PCC was received by CIC Aug 3 and AOR on Dec 5, I havent been contacted for PCC as well but my IME is done and BC is already started.

Hi Yalgar, 1 to 2 weeks normally. Sometimes it's even faster like 4-5 days. Depends on the courier delivery time. The office just take 3-4 days to stick the counterfoil and print the COPR letters.

I just received a message in my account saying that my mother's file has been transferred to Hong Kong office for further review. We submitted our application to the Ottawa office and now is in the background check process. We have submitted all documents requested and my mother is currently in Canada waiting for PPR. It is weired that the application got transferred out of Canada.

Did anyone have the same experience?

I am in the same boat. My parents' files were transferred back to HK in March AFTER the background check stareted. So far we got requested notarized copy of Hukou (it was not required when applied within Canada), updated addresses and history since they turned 18, not the past 10 years, as well as updated PCC since it was more than 6 months ago that we provided the PCC the last time. It's like they are doing the process all over again in HK. It's being more than 3 months since we submitted all required documents, we now received an invitation to the pre-arrival service, and 2 bulletin emails, status has not changed at all for 8 months since before their files were transferred. I am very disappointed with how they work.

My parents went back to China when CIC asked for an update of travel history. Therefore when we provided the update, my parents were still in China. I wonder if this was the reason their files were transferred back to HK. Did your parents leave after you started the application?

Application received in Jun. 2017, Sponsorship approval in Sep. 2017, IME request May 2018, passed in May 2018 as well, then no more movement.

Same family class for spousal sponsorship now requires PCC to be filed upfront. As I read requirement for PGP it says "May Require" PCC.

Either way I submitted altogether with package in Aug 3 2017. As I remember PCC for Spousal sponsorship determines PCC is valid for 6 months since the date of the certificate. It would be considered valid if applicant get AOR before expiration.

Guess we just wait for a month or two to see whats going to happen.

Edmonton. They said waiting time is 6-8 weeks, but we got booked for 2 weeks.

Hi, my parents medical is done and shows medical passed. They sent pcc and Imm5562 last wed but still shows additional doc required. How much time does it take after sending pcc .

PCC is part of BC, since you send they dont ask a new one, they check travel and resume first

I wonder how are they going to check resume tho.. There is almost no way i can think of how they are going to confirm validity of the content..

for example we have work book in Russia so they compare, no idea how looks like in your case

For my parents case its more like a job in US and Canada, you find a job and you get next, except government managed Tax related T4 and your acutal colleagues there is almost no way for foreign government to confirm where this person has been worked or schooled..
