You’re welcome :):) Have you tried checking thru VFS online tracking? You could see the updates there too, especially when it has been already dispatched from the Canada Visa Office-Singapore :D:D
I was little bit busy for office tour for 3 days, so today few minutes back checked thru VFS online tracking and it was dispatched on 27 July from SGVO. So yeah! waiting to receive and see what actually they did.... :)

Yay!! That was quick!! Just gotta wait for the delivery then! Wooohoooo!! :):):D:D Congratulations!! It’s been a long process but it’s definitely worth the wait :D:D:D I’ve been doing packing still. Haha. Gotta send stuff back home to Philippines and then just bring along some stuff with me to Canada. It still feels unreal but getting more and more excited for the biggest move, by far, in my entire life!! :D:D:D

Hi - did you receive your passport from the embassy. i submitted mine on 23rd and yet to get it back. I have travel plans next week but unfortunately there is no visibility. They give a standard answer on email that their timeline is 30 days and that I can collect my passport if I want to and start the process all over again if required.

Hi Paul,

Just wondering if you had to uploaded your photo and passport to GCkey account after you sent your passport to Singapore? I totally ignored the GCkey account and today I found out that they want me to uploaded photo and passport to GCkey account as well.

I'm not sure if this affected their processing of issuing visa and COPR.

Thanks,

Same here. But when i was searching for similar cases in this forum, understood it is applicable for applicants who are from countries that dont require visa to enter Canada. They will not submit their passport, instead have to upload it. For others, it is okay to ignore it and should not affect the process. If you get any info different from this, please keep me posted.

Good morning,
I am sponsoring my partner who is. Myanmar national but living in Thailand the past 9 years.
On July 7, PPR forwarded to our lawyer in Toronto.
July 14, PP was received by VAC in BKK.
July 17 PP sent to SGVO and received same day.
As of today, eCAS (we have lawyer and GCKey is linked to him) still states “Medical Received” (we sent this back in May 2018) and VAC tracking still states “Visa Application, tracking ID xxxxxxxxxx being processed at Canadian Visa Office, Singapore.
My question: I’ve read some threads where individuals receive their PP within 2 weeks. Has anyone been waiting longer than 2 weeks to receive PP or update that PP has been returned to VAC? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there :) First of all, congratulations! :D As for the processing time of visa stamping, it totally depends on the visa officer. On the letter itself, it’s stated that the standard processing time is a month. However, it is not totally unheard of that some applicants get their passports back in 2-3 weeks. I, for one, got mine back in 18 days (even though I’m actually based in Singapore right now lol). Usually though, the delay is caused by the dispatching of the documents from the Canada Visa Office back to VFS/CVAC. And probably due to dispatching them in bulk as well. Anyway, I believe it shouldn’t be too long now until you get your wife’s documents back :):)
