No reason to worry, just yet. Majority of the applications must've been delivered between 1st to last week of May. It will take some time for IRCC to sort through them. Hang in there

Yes you can if you meet the income requirements. Also you need to submit separate application for yoUr parents and spouse. You cannot add spouse on PNG applications.

Hi,

I have a question regarding the income requirements to sponsor my mother next year 2019. I just got here April 2017. Thus, I only have a 2017 T4 and will have a 2018 T4. I'm married and my husband has a 2016, 2017 T4 and 2018 T4.

Will I be eligible to sponsor my mom on 2019, if my husband is the one with 3 T4s and I only have 2?

Appreciate your answers. Thank you in advance!

If he is the cosigner, then as long as your combined income is more than the requirement, it is fine.

You need NOA (the letter/email that you get after filing tax to Revenue Canada) not T4.

hi @YVR123,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, he will be my co-signer. Just to clarify, so as long as we meet the income requirements, I will still be eligible to sponsor my mom even I only have a 2 year NOA?

The reason for this is my co-signer has a 3 year NOA and our combined income will be qualified for sponsorship.

Thanks again!

I would say it is pretty straight forward from the rules set. A three year consecutive income is required. No exceptions. And income can only be vetted through NOA.

Hi, I have sponsored by mother for the PR. I have received request from CIC to submit below documents:
1. Travel History
2. Medical
3. Police Clearance
4. CV

I've a question regarding CV, has anybody submitted it yet? Is there any format you guys are using?

I sponsored my mother and received a request to submit Death Certificate of my father. Can I upload online via Case Specific Enquiry Web Form? Options on the request letter indicate to mail it or send it via fax.
I faxed it, the next day got approval for sponsorship on ecase=online tool. good luck,
