Hi all,

Applicant for July 28th 2017

AIP/SA = 12th June 2018
DM = 13 June 2018

Letter for interview just came through today at 8:58 (20th July 2018) for the 27th July 2018.
It took 5 and a half weeks from DM for us to get the letter for interview, felt like longer though!

We will be landing 1 day short of our 12 month mark.
Finally it will all be over :)
Congrats, it's amazing the difference in times between different people. Feel really lucky the speed my wifes wrapped up, we went AIP July 16th. DM and landing letter July 17th (landing July 26th), and a belated SA July 18th. Still seems surreal after all the waiting!

not reapply. they will just update / replace your ohip card.
In Alberta we just have to keep bringing in the new docmumet ( as in visa etc ) the card 'expires' when the visa expires but I've called when there have been delays and they just extend it. Looking forward to brining in the pr document and then not ever having to do that again !

September 1st Applicant,
Just passed medicals and passed eligibility. Dangggg!!
Now waiting for further notices to pop up.

however, a question to all thy PR approved peeps, I had not paid RPRF at the time of applying. Do i have to pay it now for my application to proceed further or It doesn't matter and my application will be processed w/o it and I just have to pay it if and when I go for my PR interview?

You'll have to pay them before your landing appointment, but you don't absolutely need to pay them now.

As far as i know they will not continue the process until they recieved your RPRF, if you haven’t paid it yet they will send email that you need to pay the right for permanent residency.

Have you had any problems or have they asked for extra documents? Did you hire a representative?
Nothing, just called to CIC and was told that the case was transferred to Etobicoke local office. We have representative from the beginning, totally useless. He said we are on the right pass, just March and April are getting landing interviews now. Can we trust him at all? Wasted money.

I hear you, sometimes we have to take the job with our own hands. Luckily this forum exists.

you had better confirm with CIC that your applicaiton was transferred to local office for landing interview or further assessment. That is different scenario.

I called them twice, they said no updates after SA, transferred for further assessment, but no requests or questions so far, although it was transferred in the beginning of June.
