Today I got my AOR!

AOR: July 11

Recap: I applied with the wrong address so I contacted CIC via email since my application was not in the system. I never heard back from them regarding the change of address but I still got the AOR. I tried to change the address online today but my application is still not in progress so online services are not working for me, hopefully they will get back to me soon...

Recap: I applied with the wrong address so I contacted CIC via email since my application was not in the system. I never heard back from them regarding the change of address but I still got the AOR. If they open the application and find that documents are missing or eligibility is not met, they will send the application back for correction. Till the application is opened for initial review, nothing will move.

Edit: The address they have for us on the letter is incorrect. I just double checked the application we sent and there was no typos made, so the mistake came on their end.

The initially open the applications in Sydney, Nova Scotia and then the application is physically mailed to the assigned processing centres which are distributed across Canada.
