I don't want to be a d**k to agents, but please do your own research before engaging agents, and if you choose to do so, trust them. Doing splits on two boats in the middle of an ocean ain't the best way forward.
 
Hi Guys, my AOR is 16 April and i haven't seen any movement with application. Called IRCC and the lady I spoke to said the last time my file was looked at was May 2! That's way too long!

My application is still with CIO ,Sydney and criminality, security not yet started. Eligibility started but needs further review.

The wait is killing me and i'm really overwhelmed. What are the chances of a rejection at this point? Can anybody tell me, pls?

Did she tell you why the Eligibility review is required? it could be for various reason:

-Employment references are being reviewed
-If you are claiming points for relatives in Canada, and have not provided proof of relationship (as per the IRCC requirements)
-Others...

Since the eligibility is not completed that could be the reason your criminality, security has not yet started...

First call them up again and find out why eligibility is required, if you come to know then provide them additional information through the webform without waiting for them to ask: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

I am afraid, chances of rejections are still high.

Finally was able to get through to CIC. The agent was very cheerful and said that I am recommended Pass and that they are reviewing my background. Also gave Ottawa as my VO. So far looks good.

I'm PNP-outland and not claiming points for relatives. She couldn't tell why my eligibility needed further review. I'm guessing she didn't have any details to share on that. But she said my application is less than 3 months and therefore, there's no need to worry and reminded me of the 6-month processing time.

What do you make of that?
 
Can a dependant call CIC call centre to check principal application status?

At this point, i'm really scared. Will give them a call again. Hopefully, they have something new to share. Thanks
