Hi everyone, i have a score of 422. Do you guys think its gonna come down in coming months or else should i go for state nomination like Ontario. I heard we have to pay 1500 dollars for Ontorio state province, which i could save if i get ITA from express entry. Guide me PLEASE!!!!! $

Sorry to break this news to you but the scores won't even go below 440 in the foreseeable future. Retake ielts to boost your scores if you haven't already maxed

Just curious, How did you get to that 35k figure?
Doubtful about this figure since they issued more ITAs in 2017 than target according to this chart in link. Can they issue more again ? who knows.

"Canada has increased the number of candidates it plans on welcoming through Express Entry in 2018 and again in 2019, to 74,900 and 81,400, respectively.
So far in 2018, IRCC has issued 39,700 ITAs. "

If rate of new addition remain constant, next CRS cutoff on 11th July will be 440.
If miraculously draw happens on 4th July, cutoff will be 439.

Lets hope for the best.

I just received an ITA in my inbox. Waiting for an ITA since last 8 months with 438 score. Recreated the profile in February to get a NOI from Ontario. Applied for PNP on March 15. Took 3 months to get the 600 points(4 days ago). Thank you very much everyone! I used to pass every Wednesday draw here with so much frustration but still hopeful. I don't know how to explain. I am so happy!

I wish everyone here a good luck!

PS: Ontario requested additional documents in May for which I took 14 days to reply.
All the best dude. We all wish you the best for your next process now. And more patience.

If you really wish to get ITA in this year, then it would be better not to hesitate to pay that when there is a PNP chance. Even for OINP HCP, the bottom line this year for now is still 43x, and it will be picked and sent ITA by ON system through EE Candidates in the pool but not what we can apply for individually. So try as much as possible if there is anything could increase the score. The reason of not waiting is because each pre-draw score distribution for now is all way larger than the data in the same period in 2017. GL!

Guys
Seeing the trend, feels like the next draw shall be after 3 weeks - and the CRS will be in mid 450s.
After which they will have the fornightly draws to make the CRS fall to 441-442.
Lets do all what we have to be ready to catch when it happens.
I personally am at 425 - awaiting spouse's ECA and both of us reappearing IELTS - I have to get a CLB 10 across - and she a CLB 8 across for us to reach 442.

Hey guys, I need to take one judgement call, so who better than to ask in this forum :)
My current projected CRS is 431 (pending ECA expected by mid-July). I have CLB10 in IELTS and wife has CLB9 all through except Listening which has CLB8 (7.5 in L section). So if she retakes IELTS and can score CLB9 all through, it will increase CRS to 433.
With the current trend of 440+ cut-off in 2018, does it make sense to spend the $$ to go from 431 to 433? If OINP HCP opens up, can those 2 points give any extra advantage?

The two points would have made more sense if you were on 440. Any points on 440 should be pursued.

Look for other PNPs in addition to Ontario's.

I doubt they would go for another gao of 3 weeks...Plus no IELTS results coming..So the score would definitely drop down further...

I'm at 440, was thinking of retaking IELTS, but due to yesterdays draw in two minds now.
