Hello All,

I received an ITA in September 2017 under the Express Entry system (FSW-O) and I submitted my application in Dec 2017. I was issued ADR (FBI-PCC) on Dec 13, 2017 and I sent those docs on Dec 27th, 2017. I passed medicals also in December, 2017. Since Dec, 2017 my application is in review of eligibility stage itself.

Sometime in January I realized that I didn’t send my experience letter from my previous employer. So I sent that letter through IRCC website on Jan 15th, 2018 and received a conformation on Jan 24th, 2018 that they will forward it accordingly to the department.

I ordered GCMS notes on Mar 27th , 2018 and received on Apr 27th , 2018. From the summary notes of the primary review officer (on Dec 13th, 2017) he recommended additional/further review of my previous employer. As the documents I submitted (along with the application) doesn’t provide clear information regarding job duties etc; All that required information is in the experience letter (that I sent later in Jan). I called CIC earlier this month and they are saying they have no exact date when a review officer will get back to my case.

My question is has anyone faced/in similar situation?

How long does it take to review if they recommended additional review of application?

Regards,

Msrdy.
i haven't, but have read similar cases on this forum. Once it is recommended that they review your case, the timelines are much longer. Having said that, you are about six months in - so, hope for the best!

Yes! However, @amug suggests ordering GCMS to wake up the agents who are most likely sleeping on my file. I ordered my notes yesterday... Today is 98th day from AOR for me. I'm just hoping that GCMS would be like a wake up call for the agent.
I agree, that could be right too. I am excited to know what your GCMS says. I know it will sound terrible but everytime i thing of ordering the notes, i feel lazy as i need to print out the form, sign it and scan it .. then i feel like i can just wait
It’s been 97 days for me now since the ADR .. i guess they will clear us in August

Err... please dont jinx it by saying August... Don't mind but I would appreciate if we all can have a positive mindset. August is too far fetched. I hope we all receive PPRs very, very soon! I understand that everyone has their own circumstances and may or may not be in a rush to be in Canada. I, personally, want to be there asap because my family is in Canada. And home is where heart is.

Love and peace to all :)

are you in IP1? is your background check states: "your application is in progress. we will send you a message when we start your background check?"

OMG.. 80 days?
You are going to kill nidiw2017 with heart attack now :)
That's funny. Just don't feel like anything is going to happen in at least 40 more days. So better to keep low expectation than be disappointed. Days goes on just like any other days.

Mine 95 days since AOR. The waiting is killing me. Would've been so convenient if IRCC will tell us "Your application has been approved. We are just scheduling the release of PPRs according to batches." That way, we can all quit our jobs and enjoy the remaining days before flying to Canada.

Yeah. Wish there was a better service provided by CIC to provide the exact staus of the application with some explanation.
