I understand your frustration man ... it's extremely unfair ... i applied with 4 other friends ... my case was more simple than them i have way less travel than them, they come from the same country and guess what they are all already canadian and i'm the only one left.

Bright side is when we get this citizenship it will be much more sweet because of the extra pain we had to endure

Thank you man, i really feel you too, our situation is very similar i have been here for 11 years too. You got RQ just for the fact that you decided to change provinces.

But i am really sure you will get DM in the next 2 weeks (hopefully)

Guys who had the oath these days! Please, reply if they checked your passports?

It’s chill you just need to complete the forms included in the invite so make sure to print it. They just check your driving licence or RAMQ and ask for your PR card since you need to return it. They also asked me if I had any issue with police or justice. That’s it no passeport check no PR confirmation letter needed.

I dont know what they are doing !! this wait is going to drive me crazy ! its almost 3 months i passed the exam and im still IP. iv been here in Canada almost 11 years, 2 university degrees ( french side), a good government job, 3 travels to my home country not up to 2 weeks and 2 to sun destination ( Cuba...) during the 11 years that it.

By the the time we get citizenship, our sensations will be numb from the pain and we won't feel any joy.

Hi guys, I'd like someone to confirm something please. My oath ceremony is tomorrow but it I can't bring my mother because she has a citizenship application in process? Is that correct? Thanks!
