So if I landed in Canada on 28 May, 2015 and never left Canada, then before submitting my application I should get Police Certificate from Pakistan dated 28 May, 2015 covering all previous year I have lived there? or a Police certificate with the current date like 28 May, 2018.This is, unfortunately, an incorrect information. If you lived a total of 183 days or more outside Canada in a single Country in the last 4 years then you should choose "yes" and provide PCC from that Country. This is irrespective of your PR date. Actually, that's my case as well. I got my PR in 2015 and haven't moved out of Canada since then and still provided PCC from the country I was living in before landing in Canada.
I also have kids now age 17, 15, 11. The form says "You are required to provide a police certificate for each country where your child was present for a total of 183 days or more while the child was 14 years of age or older during the four (4) years immediately before the date of your child’s application" I am wondering, should I get the police certificate for both of my kids that are now 17 and 15 years old?
It's confusing. I appreciate if someone who already applied in this situation and gets through can help me.
