Just an update, still no movement, and am starting to get nervous for my parents PR renewal, as my sister is getting married in chicago in the second week of May.

Their application was received Feb 12, and to date, still no movement. I sent through a case enquiry requesting for urgent processing, hopefully that works out.

Crossing my fingers the cards arrives before May 10.
Have you received your cards? I totally understand your frustration

Application for renewal of pr card; Recieived Feb 14
Email notification was recieived on April 26 informing they had recieved my application on feb 14

I called CIC on monday april 30 rep said i was approved on april 27.

I have flights booked for June 6 and i shared my concern as to I don’t have my cards yet will i get them she said not to worry i should recieive them around may 25 but she cant guarantee. I really just hoping and praying it comes before time,
Our application was received on 8th Feb and email notification on 23 rd April.

Nothing more to add. I do not know why.

Not yet. But not counting on it anymore. We are driving anyways, and the CIC response which I posted earlier, in terms of using the IM1000 in returning by private vehicle is acceptable. :)

It would be nice to receive the cards though. :)

I called call center. Answer is still in process and they are not asking any additional documentation. ( Means everything is ok I guess ). But he said he can request sydney anything only after 100 days. In my case May 19 th. He further said, before this month end everything will be fine ).

Thanks for the update Scarborough guy.
Coolcat01, I called 1-888-242-2100 to inquire about my citizenship application, but I also got an update about the PR card application at the same time. I got the same answer as other people, that, in my case, the application should be complete and the PR card mailed by My 12th (based on 100 days processing time, and no guarantees of course). This was a week ago or so, I don't remember the specific options I selected from the menu. If your call is not put in the queue, try calling again (and again, and again). In my case, when I finally made it, the wait time was about 30 minutes.

So, just an update on my parents' application. My dad called today to say that their status finally shows complete. Timeline as follows:
Sent January 12
Received January 22
AOR April 9
Card sent May 7
All in all took them a little more than 100 days.

I can imagine how frustrating that must be. I'd try calling them if you haven't already. Your application is now past processing times so they have to give you more than their standard cookie cutter answers.

Nothing yet on my application. Still "decision made" as of May 2. But judging on my parents' timeline I shouldn't be expecting any news until the end of May.

Yeah they received my application on feb 14 and my approval date was April 27. They told me to call back week of may 23 i should expect news then and have my card by june so they say she told me to jot worry so thats what im trying to do and just speak it into existence i will have the card before my flight leaves on june 6 I hope the best for all of us. This process is terrible, after this im getting my citizenship so I won’t have to deal with this again!

Current status of PR renewal, sitting in "Decision Made" status.
  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on January 26, 2018.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 12, 2018.
  3. We started processing your application on April 12, 2018.
No pressing need for the card, but still feel better having it. Nothing to worry about right now I assume?
