Have got an Oath invite? if you are moving to another city within province then i would just not inform them and attend to wherever they tell you to attend be it regina/saskatoon/PA.
if you are moving to another province then send them (IRCC Saskatoon) a letter explaining why.
Best thing would be to call them and find out what you can do.
Just out of curiosity. If he is moving to another province, should he explain why he is moving?

I think it would be better to avoid them calling him/her back for an explanation. If the reason are fairly justifiable then I would just write it down(reasons such as new job/family/ etc would be genuine). I think CIC requires a reasonable explanation why you cannot attend your assigned date- I do not know he/she has an oath invite already. Hope that helps.

Thank you for your response. What if he/she doesn't have an Oath invite (like many of us Regina applicants) and doesn't know when IRCC is planning to schedule Oath ceremonies but his/her status is DM and wants to move to another province? What's your opinion?

if he/she is in no rush then i would just write a letter and have them transfer your file to your new province. This will also make a spot available for someone else in SK instead of it going to waste- as in you do not attend your assigned date. If he/she is in a rush then I would just move to the new province and pay the money to come to SK just for the oath ceremony.
Best is to call CIC and look at all the options available.

The may 23rd Oath in S'toon is not there anymore at Find a citizenship ceremony. May be they are updating that page.
Maybe they're trying to factor-in their May 2018 tbd Regina staffing/venue. They need to make that decision/announcement asap this week, in order for them to be able to give the test-takers & interviewees their customary 3-weeks' notice. Happily, I think they understand that shift/rotation workers (particularly remote location fly in/out workers) need plenty of notice.

this wait is killing me...

My interviewer said 2-4 months to oath invite but my friends who got interviewed same day said 4-6 weeks. Are they just giving standard time line or is this more specific? we all from saskatoon.

That goes for many of us on here, but please can we keep our SK posts to providing facts/updates. And so that I'm not guilty of such transgression myself, I can report here that I received my ATIP report today, after a 26 days wait.
