Thank you Pasi and all other members who are doing a great job of communicating their progress/status which gives direction and helps keeing hope alive.
Hi all, I gave my test on Nov 2nd 2017 and am still waiting for my oath invitation. Ecas says decision made. I've called CIC and they say that my next step is the oath ceremony which needs to be scheduled. Now tricky part is that my PR card expires in a month - does it make sense to apply to renew a PR or let it be since I should technically be a citizen soon?
If you dont have any travels coming up before you can get your passport, you dont need to renew your PR card.
If you think you will be traveling soon or there is a chance you might travel in few months just apply for the PR. If I was in your situation I was access what my travel needs are for the upcoming months and decide.

I did the test on November 29 DM 30 I been anxiously waiting for Oath Invite so you are not alone.By the way, anyone here done their test and interview in November and still awaiting their oath invitation (Scarborough) - or is it just me

Today I found my status is from DM to in process. waiting for 4 months for Oath. anybody advice why status back to in-process.

Don’t want to be a downer but sometimes when they ready to do your Oath Invite they will check your security clearance and if expire they have to do it again it has happened to someone in this forum but it didn’t take long to go back DM and then Oath invite. I have a feeling the same thing might happen me because I been waiting pass 4 months for Oath Invite also.

People who are getting the Oath ceremony emails. What day and time exactly you guys are receiving these emails? I am trying to find out if Scarborough office send emails for Oath randomly or if there is a pattern for day and time in a week...
