1) Do a search on this forum on the word "interview" and you'll get an idea on what they ask.
2) Take them anyway. There is no downside and incase they ask, only an upside that you are prepared.
edit: personally, I think it's a positive sign. If they weren't interested in you, they wouldn't have called you. Previously, if they had been suspicious about your finances, a VO would refuse you as they will not take any chances.
But if they are asking you to bring bank statements it means that they want to just see weather or not you still have the funds for the first year. If you do, it shouldn't be an issue. So it feels like they are putting in some additional effort to ensure everyone is judged fairly.

Hi, dont worry I was also called for interview I guess this is a part of their process now. I appeared for interview yesterday and here are my two cents. Firstly it takes about 1.5 hours to reach there from islamabad, due to shuttle service etc so plan accordingly. Embassy people do not allow parents inside so go alone and dress casualy. For our interview they asked same questions from all the candidates. Just read your sop and be calm.
Can you please share the questions so everyone else has an idea what to expect?
OK, made a list of all documents that I will be submitting. i have added the purpose of each document in brackets. Please let me know if I forgot any:
I talked to the department and they said if the study permit is refused, I will have to apply again to the department. If the study permit is late however, they will defer the admission. Really need to make sure I get it on the first go, inshAllah.

You are good to go. I did upload one extra thing which is the polio certificate. You would be needing that when you reach the airport so why not do it right now? It wont take an hour. Do attach the affidavit of support too. It is like a letter from sponsor that they will support you but on an affidavit.

Okay so you did attach the affidavit. If you can then get the polio certificate and you are good to go.
Yes, I have the affidavit. I'm just waiting for the funds to be converted to USD. I don't live in a big city so it takes some time to collect dollars.
I already have a Polio certificate but its old (~ 4 years). I suppose I should get a new one?
Also, one thing I overlooked is relative in Canada. The form doesn't ask and I don't mention them because none of them are sponsors. I have 3 aunts in Canada and an uncle. I made a new thread and was informed they're considered weak ties so I should be OK but this is one potenial weak area of my application. There isn't much I can do expect show a very strong tie to Pakistan which I'm already doing via 1) Shares in family business 2) Job offer 3 ) Property ownership. No one in my immediate family has ever filed for PR for Canada.

About the relatives, they are weak ties if you mention them. For all i know, they don't matter much. It only matters if you have a sibling in Canada or some immediate family member. My first cousin is a citizen of Canada but it never affected my application.
Additional question guys, should company affidavit be signed by just the company's finance director? or shall I also add my father's signature as he's the CEO (i.e. two signatures on affidavit)
Should company affidavit the reason they are sending me? Currently, the affidavit states the i) total expenditure, ii) if my stay is extended, company is willing to bear additional expenses iii) it also adds the fact that they have provided income tax statements and bank statement

Yes, I do too. And what about the idea that affidavit should state why they want to send me? Secondly, should they also allude to the fact that I'm a shareholder or is that trying too hard?
