Yes! You have to put your employment history year wise with your income (as per NOAs). Read the below link where I had provided an example:
https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/parents-and-grandparents-sponsorship-2018.513951/page-109#post-6838214
Thanks for the example. In my case, i was employed as a contract to one company and then became emplyed at another company.

Should i put period of employment company name and gross income for whole year or just earned with that company ?
and then in next line other company, period of employment and gross income for that whole year again or just what i earned with that company.

If i enter income from just the company separately in two columns, By adding those two numbers, it wont add up to my NOA income as there are other incomes too.

Any help is appreciated. I am stuck on this part.

Frankly I don't want to have to be paying $25 every year and be penalized because of stupid people who would apply when they don't qualify. Why should I have to pay the price of other people not following the rules and be penalized for their undoings? They should pay not me.
As long as eventually 10K apps are accepted and deemed eligible, then nobody is being penalized no matter how many ineligible people apply to lottery. Whether it's 10K eligible apps upfront or over 3 draws in a year, it really doesn't matter in the long run.

Then there is no need to pay $25. That's just a cash grab from everyone entering the lottery. Serves no purpose. The way you have described says that the current system is perfect.

Hi All,

I am applying PR Application for my Parents.

I have some doubts:
  • Checklist item 4. proof of principal applicants relation to sponsor parents and grandparents: I don't have a birth certificate, (common in India for kids born in rural areas in 80s). I have always used my 10th Class certificate for my proof of birth. Can I use the same here? That 10th class certificate mentions my name and my father's name at that time, (We both changed our Last Name after that and recent documents contain the new Names including Passports and Application forms etc). I have mentioned these old names for both of us in the application form (Question: have you ever used another name before). Please advise. I can also provide an affidavit if required.
  • checklist item 6. proof of principal applicant relation to an accompanying dependent spouse or common-law partner: My Parents does not have a marriage certificate. Do we need to produce an affidavit for this. They have each other's name on their Passports as spouses.

To help you without confusing you, i have created the below example, infact this is the exact method i followed for my application:

Assuming that you are making $100,000 per annum since 2015 and you have worked for 4 different companies and your family size has been 5 since 2015, I have filled the section 14 of form in year-wise fashion, and I would suggest you to pick gross income mentioned in your NOAs.

For your employment from 2018-01-01 to present, you can total the salary as per your paychecks. Make sure you leave no gaps inbetween the dates. Hopefully this helps!

  • An affidavit will be required to address the item 4. Also, prepare and attach an explanation letter with full details of your scenario. Though if you can get a birth certificate done from the local authorities within a week or so, you should try that too.
  • For item 6, you will need an affidavit for this too. Make sure marriage date of your parents mentioned in the affidavit is similar to the one mentioned in the application forms. Provide an explanation letter explaining why you couldn't provide marriage certificate of your parents and you are providing an affidavit as an substitute to the requirement of providing a marriage certificate.
I will recommend you to provide the original copies of affidavits to IRCC, but make sure you keep a photocopy of affidavits with you.

I can tell you what I did (I received AOR last week, so I assume it was done correctly). It was one package (my parents are married, so technically, there were two applications: one to become a sponsor from me and one to become PR from my parents). Invitation letter was on top, then page with the bar code from the sponsor's application, then page with the bar code of the PR application, then check-list and then all forms and supporting docs in the order they are mentioned in the check list. I used paper clips to separate forms from each other. Used one big paper clip to keep all forms and docs together. Put them in Canada post envelop and mailed by Express post to the address indicated in the guide. Looks like it worked for me. Good luck with your application.
Hello zt2018,

Can you please tell me how much time it takes to get the file no after the submission

Hello,

Could someone please help me with a couple of questions on Financial Evaluation Form?

For question 3Bi: where need to mention if there is any undertaking that is still in effect or not yet in effect.
My parents are living with me on a super visa for which i had provided a letter of invitation as a requirement for CIC to approve the visa. Now, my question is, will letter of invitation be considered as an undertaking and should i write anything in Q3(B)(i)?

Second question is related to same form and along the same lines, for question#14- Family Size, my parents have been visiting me during the past three years, so do i need to include them while calculating the family size? Currently, i have just written down myself as being the Family size for past three years beside the fact that they lived me as a visitor.

I greatly appreciate your help if possible.

Sandeep

Dear All,

I know there is now a raffle draw system. For which, you have to show your interest and just put in the names.
Then if you're lucky and your name has been pulled out, you have a window of some days/month in which you have to file in your complete application.

I also know about the LICO thing/minimum salary requirement for last 3 years, in order to be eligible to apply.

I just want to hear from somebody out there, who has done this process ON THEIR OWN.

My mother, who currently has a 10 year Visitor Visa (not Super Visa) for Canada.
Now, i want to apply for her Permanent Residency.

Kindly guide me through as to what docs you had assembled for the application. What hurdles you came across (if any). Fees, application number, time period, etc.

Also if there are any readers, who hired a consultant to do this work for them, kindly pitch in and guide us all, as to what paperwork/docs the consultant had asked for and went in with the actual application.

Thanks in advance.

Under Gross Income, shouldn't it be T4 gross income for the period. For example, if you worked for two different employers then you would put corresponding gross income earned for the period you were employed to both individual employers.

The family size you will put in the application will be 3 for the previous 3 years. As per IRCC the family size includes the Sponsor, Co-signer (if applicable), Sponsor's dependent (if applicable), Parents and Parent's dependent who is 22 year or younger (if applicable).

The undertaking for the super visa is different from the PGP sponsorship and has no significance for PGP sponsorship/ immigration application. The undertaking for PGP sponsorship is to ensure that the parents do not have to apply for social assistance and the length of undertaking for sponsorship of parents, grandparents and their accompanying dependents is 20 years; so you don't have to worry about that.

Its a choice, you can put T4 values too, but given that the IRCC officer might not even look at T4s and just go by NOAs, i want to save their time and eventually save on the processing time (may not that significant, but any saved time is worth). Also IRCC will be more interested din knowing how much total you made in the fiscal year. That's my take on it.

Thank you. How about if parents are visitors and live with you for less than 6 months, should we still add them in family size?
