Hello everyone,

After waiting for 3 years with no updates, we finally got correspondence from IRCC. They want my dad to submit his RCMP criminal record check with finger prints. My dad resides outside of Canada. Has anyone been through this recently? Which steps did you take? Which third party company did you use? How did you complete this step for someone who is outside Canada? Any help will be greatly appreciated

I also have same problem. My mom is in India and she needs RCMP criminal check. I am trying to figure out. They told me that if I can get mom’s finger prints from India they will digitize in Canada and send to RCMP. Mom has to go to police office for her finger prints which is hard for her because she is alone. I don’t know what to do

Online is not giving me option to pay only RPRF. It's including the whole amount of $1040 where as it should be $490.

Anyone with same issue. Need help

I also got the same request for my mom. Did you figure about something about finger printing. my mom is in India and it is really hard to complete this process. She went to police station for finger prints but nobody helped her. I don’t know what to do. Only few days are left to send PCC

We got it done through JK Consultancy. It was quite expensive but they took care of everything and got RCMP certificate mailed.

but i have missed the medical by 4 days was done on 34th day instead of within 30 days
so would they reject the file (have requested them for consideratin by email)
is anyone with same experience plz share your views for the next steps to be taken

I got an email from CPC about submitting passport for the visa stamping - does any one know how many months do they give before entering the country

Can anybody please advise on the following:
(1) How long does it take for stamping if you send your passports to Ottawa
(2) Once your passport is stamped, do you have to apply for your PR card before you can leave the country again, or can you leave and apply for the PR card after you come back / land.
(3) How long do you have to 'land' after your passport is stamped?
(4) Can you send your passports for stamping to Ottawa if you are in the US (US resident)?
