Hi! there.
Please help me or anyone that has been here before. I would like to ask about this matter, right now I'm sponsoring my wife (I'm already PR )and she already sent me all the papers and other documents that we need, but there is one problem that makes me confused.

4.POLICE CERTIFICATES AND CLEARANCES(IMM 5533)
Says here > You (the principal applicant), and "any family members 18 or older" (who are not Canadian citizens or PR), must submit police certificates from the following country or countries at this time.

so does this mean I also need to get the police clearance from my mother and father in law and her 2 brothers? Please help me. I totally appreciate all the answers thank you very much!

You only need Police Certificate for the Principal Applicant (your wife) and for your Dependant Child(ren) who are 18-years or above who are included in the sponsorship application..............Police Certificate is not required for your father, mother, brothers, or sisters and the Sponsor.........Police Certificate is not required for Dependant Child(ren) who are less than 18-years of age.
