Hi,

When did you mail them? and what did you mail?

I had mailed them to ask the Status of my Application on 9th March. No response till date :(

However, in your case, the reply seems very positive :)
Hi , did you email CIC or your LVO? when I used to email CIC i used to get almost regular responses with atleast some update. my LVO i.e. NDVO on the other hand does not respond at all.

Hi Vinny,

I'm from Mauritius too and my VO is Pretoria.

My AOR was 30th Dec 2017 and I received PPR on 15th March 2018. Submitted my passport and still waiting for them to come back.

I think that if all is well with your application, you should expect PPR soon. If you need any more information, you can WhatsApp me on 57760452.

Cheers

Hey! Actually my consultant emailed them from the contact form on their website.
I think the link below should take you there.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp?_ga=2.117618893.591778565.1522666346-700657063.1508352408#q2

Hope this helps! Don't worry, you'll hear something back very soon. I am still waiting for my PPR, hope we get it this week :)

Hi all,

I had emailed CIC to find out about the status of my application, I went through IP2 on 27th Feb as well. Below is the response I received, any idea what this means? Or if anyone has received the same response?

"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
(IRCC).

We verified the information you provided and are pleased to inform you
that everything appears to be in order with your application.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached
or if additional information is needed.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your
enquiry."
How much time did CIC took to reply your email.,?

Are you saying that you don't have access to the email which is registered with the IRCC account?? That means you depend 100% on your agent for any updates/correspondence at all, up to the PPR email as well? Yikes
I'd think even if I choose to apply with an agent's help, I'd want to retain control of the email account at the very least.

Hopefully, someone who works through an agent/lawyer can answer your query.

Yes, I think so too. As someone earlier said, is it because of Dec being the last month of the year and CIC freezing the number of applications to be approved for the year 2017? Is that why our PPRs are taking longer? And although this is not FIFO system, doesn't really justify the PPRs being issued to Feb and even March while Dec ones are still pending, as the officers working on the files are the same!
Yes, I can't help it but to think us December AORs are struggling to fill the quota. Or rather, are the ones to fill the leftovers.

I hope I'm wrong though, cause the competition for the last spots seems much higher. Perhaps it's just different priorities, we've seen FSW and PNP applications being approved much faster than CEC.

Any PPR's today?
Doesn't look like there's any so far.

To be fair it's not just December AORs that are waiting, there's a number of even older cases pending. Also, we have not yet crossed the 6 months average processing time, so technically there is no delay as far as IRCC is concerned.

It's just that the applications which got rapidly approved skews our expectations. We'll probably never know the reasoning as they don't really have anything in common for us to make an educated guess.

Hello Guys,

I have a question to all the seniors out there.

IRCC states it takes an avg of 6 months to process an Express Entry application, is it 6 months from AOR or 6 months after we submit the requested documents (ADR)?
